Hey gang, I've been in the process of ordering parts to make my XR whole again since I've used my original front fork on my Stinger Hybrid. So because
of this I've gotten new headstock bearings, and new headstock spacers.
Peter Lynn lists the bearing size as "16x38" on their site, and accordingly I order bearings from VXB with a 16mm bore, but the "mushroom spacers"
that were sent to me DON'T fit into the 16mm bearings.
Is more likely that VXB sent me the wrong bearings or that the mushroom spacers are actually 17 or 18mm with incorrect info on their site?
Has anyone experienced this issue in the past?

I'm going out on a limb here....but considering that VXB did a huge run of those bearings with some form of quality control that would result in a big
loss I'm going to say its the spacers....I have many PL parts bolts spacers etc and although the parts are the same the sizes, wall thickness, flange
thickness are all different. And without bashing the PL name they have had their fair share of quality control issues in the past few years....This is
all based on experience from PL downtube, forks, and wheel spacers all of which have issues. Good luck....

I just got an email from Angus, and for anybody else out there who's interested, the PL website needs updating, the headstock bearings are 17x40 not
16x38
That's rather irritating
