finger trapping lines

New to the site
I read an article( Windwiz on Spectra lines)
? does any one here know What a (no sew finger trap) is ?
I did some searching of the forms and found no results .
It is a way of securing the loop in the end of the line with very little line degredation.

If there is interest in this post i will go into further detail

I know what the (no sew trap) is. Feel free to share your thoughts.
I can see this being more useful to big power kite flyers/surfers using 500# + line. These guys are getting big air time and the flying line used needs to be as strong as the rating. It would also be useful to flyers who use sleeving.

I use knots on all the bridles of my kites because the line rating is usually stronger than it needs to be.

I also use knots on my flying lines. I have been using a figure eight knot on my 350# flying lines and I have had this set for about 7 years now.

In the past I have used three methods of no sew on the bridles.

1. glue (messy)
2. knots (currently in use)
3. inserting the line into itself. (time consuming) (no knot trap)
