Having a bunch of fun with the local Dako members.

That's cool Mike! It must be fun to get to fly with other people.
Also, I saw your video on the pl turbo bar. It looks like they have made improvements over the ozone version. The throw looks much longer.BigMikesKites - 16-11-2014 at 06:31 AM
I've got a follow up on the Cross over bar. we flew it on the PL Core 3.0, the PL Reactor 4.4, and PL Voltage 6.5 on top of the original Hornet
2m. i'll post that once I get it completely finished.
Here is the vid for the Cross Over bar
Here is the CrossOver bar with a few other kites

Thanks for including the X - over bar review Mike. Knowing that the bar needs a powered kite will help remove confusion for folks.
I found that same issue with my home version of X-over bar and small foils.
It will be interesting to hear if this bar doesn't take to some kites like the Turbo bar? The way it seems to let the brakes go very slack may not
agree with brake biased kites? BigMikesKites - 16-11-2014 at 09:51 AM
Yes Bladerunner,
Very much like the Turbo bar. We had to add brake for the Voltage and the Reactor. ironically, the Voltage is the kite Peter Lynn sells the bar
with. But we tested it on a wide range including the Viper S. The Viper S worked good at the normal back setting. hornet did fine at either
stock setting. But there is space to get it adjusted for all this, so it wasn't much of a problem if you know what you are doing.
A new person would be somewhat lost without guidance.ssayre - 16-11-2014 at 09:57 AM
Mike, try the twister when you get a chance. I found that it didn't like the turbo bar at all while my viper s flies like it was made for it.ssayre - 16-11-2014 at 10:02 AM
Maybe it's just an optical illusion, but it looked like those light poles were trying to get a taste of kitesoliver - 16-11-2014 at 05:50 PM
I remember that Reactor IIs didn't do well with the Turbo bar, and see you have the newer Reactor working well with this new PL bar... Is there a
change in the newer Reactors or will this work with the RII's as well?
I have heard that the newer Reactors respond better to brakes.
