A couple of nights ago the Nashville Predators were in Toronto to play the Leafs in hockey. During the singing of the US anthem the mic cuts out and
leave it to the Canadian fans to take care of it
(Not kite related but I thought it was cool to see - feeling some Canadian pride)

I'll bet that more Canadian fans know the words to the "Star Spangled Banner " than American fans do For "Oh Canada "
Way to go Toronto ! Now leave our Bruins alone you are bad for their self esteem...ssayre - 22-11-2014 at 10:18 AM

Perhaps that is true. In any case I am sure the words for both anthems are on the scoreboard for all to see.
That was quite impressive. Very classy as already noted. I tip my hat to those fans.markite - 24-11-2014 at 10:37 PM
No the words are not projected - i think most hockey or baseball fans in Canada know the US National anthem by heart after hearing it at every game
before the Canadian theme - it's a catchy tune

Thanks and likewise if you ever head this way!
I smiled when I read it, the way you wrote "a Molson" was very American. I remember last time I was over the border and getting a beer it caught me
off guard and I asked a Molson what? Molson's is a very old brand here and there are many different beers by Molson like Molson Canadian, Dry, Stock,
Export, M, .. so we'd offer a Canadian, Ex etc.
Approaching winter kiting season there is nothing better than a good full day out kiting then someone brings a few beer to share for the pack up and
they get nice and slushy cold.
