I've eyed the distance/time records and it isn't just a matter of deciding you are going to break the record. It would take some support that wasn't
riding to take care of food, water, and batteries. And then just the riding would require you to keep moving and at a decent speed all the time.
Breaks kill your mileage accumulation. I've put in 94 miles in a day and needed a day off the next day due to leg fatigue and harness pressure
points. Setting the record would be best with a smooth steady 20 mph wind that blew all day and night. On Ivanpah that would allow 40-45 mph
cruising which would stack up the miles without beating you up mentally and physically.
