Dakine vega seat harness

Chrisz - 15-12-2014 at 06:28 PM

Anyone have a Dakine vaga seat harness? I am looking to replace my mystic Force sheild harness.

I am looking for something that is not so bulky, the mystic force sheild goes too far up my back and the front spreader bar pad is so big I cant bend over to adjust my ski boots.

Hello anyone out there?

I use mine for the water. A good one go with if you need a seat harness without the extra bulk of some of the others. I tried on a Dakine Fusion and couldn't bend over. Ordered a vega blind and it worked out. The only complaint, if I'm being really picky is that the leg straps on mine are showing wear but it's nothing serious yet and it has had a lot of use.

This seems to be the harness I am looking for, I can always use my old harness if I am looking for a lot of support.

Have you tried the Ozone snow kite harness?

I haven't tried that one, it almost seems too mimnalistic. I going to pick up a freestyle kite so a little support would be good. Are you happy for that one?

I have never been comfortable in a normal waist harness on the snow. On the other hand i like my waist harness on my landboard. It's worth a shot if you can find one to demo. I can wear it under my snow clothes and it fits like a glove.

If you can remove your bar pad, and you wear your harness over the top of your coat, that could solve your problem.

The part I like about the ozone seat the most is the leg support on long glides.

I use a Dakine Renegade waist harness for water - but on land I LOVE my VEGA..lower tow point, comfy.
