I've got an 09 ozone frenzy. I took it out last week and noticed that the responsiveness and turn speed was quite slow. I could kite loop, but the
kite just barely made it around. The winds were a little lower than I would have liked, but I was watching other foil riders, and especially lei
riders move their kites all over the wind window. Can I do something to the length of the lines to increase responsiveness on my foil?

make sure all your bridle lines are not tangled, and check your kite lines for stretch.

in light air , depower trim (pull it in)and it will speed things up. a depowered kite will fly faster than with trim all out . plus it will give
better up wind as well.
the trick to make it fast is keep YOUR speed HIGH as possible, if you fall off the point of sail it will slow and kind feel dead...til the edge and
speed are producing power and response.
in light air ALWAYS drive for UPWIND , if you loosing edge (falling off the wind ) things start feeling dead and slow. you want speed, effective
edge and upwind transitions( rather than down wind turns).
not TOO much pressure on edge it will kill speed , got to let things flow up to speed and keep it there, turns should be snappy thru the top or
loops with speed.
might check for stretch on the front as well 09 definitely will have changed. could be the issue.

Phree said what I was thinking,.. I'm not into depow, but my limited experience with the Montana I had, had me thinking that it sounds like you need
to sheet in a little on your turns.

Stretch shouldn't be a problem, the kite is still crinkly and has had roughly 10 sessions on it. Mostly just say in storage. The lines only have 2
sessions on them

how much time on this unit? or similar foil?
if lines check out even, depower at trim til things start speeding up( responsive) , ease in smoothly on bar to find sweet spot.
kite should not backstall with bar all the way in, make sure depower line is correct length for the series
kite shape is good when pressurized?

The bigger the kite, the slower it turns. Were you all flying similar sized kites? What size is yours?
It sounds like you have new lines on it that may have messed up your tuning a bit ? Play with the trim strap and like others have said, trim in to
speed the kite up through the window. Trim out to speed up turns at the risk of choking your speed through the window. You want the kite to stall but
hopefully not back down easily with the bar in.
Many LEI kites will turn much faster so don't expect to match them all.
