RTF Very good condition, still very crisp. A couple very small spots and a portion on back that has the faintest area of blemish(?) didnt even notice
it 'til i hit it with the right light.... circled in red... I would call it barely noticeable. U2U if any questions.

How many feet long is that light wind monster? I bet it's the ultimate in the right wind.MeatÐriver - 8-1-2015 at 07:55 PM
About 22'8". Time to fund another depower. :evil:BigMikesKites - 9-1-2015 at 02:08 AM
This is a great kite. When everything else is grounded, this is nice to have.
soliver - 9-1-2015 at 07:07 AM
I can tell you all that with the 8.6m Reactor II that I've had, I could buggy in sub-10mph wind, and I've heard the newer Reactors are even better
than the RIIs esp in the light wind department. So guys, if you want a light wind SUPER engine, this is your machine and at what looks to be an
AWESOME price to boot. I've heard the 10.8m RII's could move you in well in a steady 4mph breeze.
Whatcha shoppin for Meat?Demoknight - 9-1-2015 at 08:04 AM
I can't tell you how bad I want this. I also can't tell how how dead I would be if I purchased it (Dead from girlfriend aggro, not dead from the
kite). My current favorite kite is my 8.6 R2013, but I already rarely get to fly it. I really love big fixed bridles. I almost exclusively have to
fly either my 3.5m R2013 or my 12m Charger 2 on my regular spot.BeamerBob - 9-1-2015 at 08:20 AM
Yep, even the RII big girl would give a ride on hard sand in a steady 4 mph. Wind can drop a bit once you are moving. In that light stuff, the turns
have to be delicate and well timed.BigMikesKites - 9-1-2015 at 12:32 PM
the wind on our session was 3-6. Grass field.MeatÐriver - 9-1-2015 at 06:02 PM
A pic from spring SOBB comparing the the RII and R3 in 10.8m, not to mention an 11m Vapor, side by side by side. Wish it was from a better angle to
get an eye on the longer span, but a look at the chord length shows that the R3 is definitely higher A/R. So technically should have a slight edge
on the low end and performance, though pilot skill would be a huge factor in such low wind flying. As was clearly the case watching RonH putting
around on his RII while i was struggling to keep mine in the air for any extended period.
RonH - 9-1-2015 at 06:46 PM
I think the RIII will have the advantage at the top end as well...
The 10.8 is a real session saver when there isn't much wind. I would get this kite if I didn't have the RII alreadyMeatÐriver - 18-1-2015 at 01:37 AM
Wicked kite.... 'nuff said!MeatÐriver - 23-1-2015 at 06:59 AM

Sounds like magic kite, wonder how it would stack against the mac bego...haven't flown either cause around here it is buy and flysand flea - 21-2-2015 at 09:25 AM
an awesome low wind engine at the price of a 4 meter!
this is a real opportunity for someone
Think how good it would feel to hook into one of these and buggy when everyone else is standing around?
MeatÐriver - 21-2-2015 at 01:11 PM
Thanks guys.
Had it out again on wednesday.... just wish I had an anenometer to see how low the wind was. Surely the lowest winds I have successfully flown
in.
The window was so small that I had to keep near constant rear line tension to keep the kite from jumping out of the window and luffing. I really
enjoyed reeling in those rear brakes in and watching the TE lock into place, kite slow down and just give massive grunt.
Doing upturns was actually only possible using this technique, the kite climbing upward impossibly slow, but let off the brakes... kite would luff.
Kind of counterintuitive, but I imagine when that TE flips in a bit, even though moving slower, there is a large high pressure increase on the bottom
of the wing.
I hadn't my harness with me so I just ended up grabbing the handles with my index finger about an inch under the power lines to save my wrists from
riding the brakes so hard. Was only at it for 40 minutes, but was entirely exhausted... probably never even got to 10 mph. Oh well.... I was still
flying!
Then it was time to drag the heavy bug up a 30ft tall soft sand dune with dead arms.
Before it goes I'd love to try some longer lines to see what I could get out of it.csa_deadon - 7-3-2015 at 11:56 PM

We're having trouble passing off these big Reactors aren't we?sand flea - 12-3-2015 at 06:56 PM
It seems FB has gotten a lot of bad publicity lately.
If you fly the correct kite in the correct wind
range you will be safe.

I love FBs!!!!!!MeatÐriver - 12-3-2015 at 07:12 PM
@Spencer- No joke. Luckily I just completed my quiver this week... Just feel bad for you waiting during the in between phase to fill your new quiver
out... I imagine you'll be back out there sometime soon, yeah?
@Chris- It's been too long! I say we hit the beach while everyone else is at IBX. Also, I love your mood, "non significant wind chaser" that's where
your Vapor comes in!soliver - 12-3-2015 at 10:06 PM
Yea, I'm not too far out... I was gonna try a bit of sit down static flying this week but a busy schedule got in my way... It's coming, and I filled
most of my "new quiver" demands.ssayre - 13-3-2015 at 05:55 AM
I think fb's are still selling. I think it's more of a timing thing, especially with large fb's. The right person, right time, and has extra money
at the time. Also, price point is a major factor. Midsize fb's that are in the 200 range have a larger audience. Personally, I would like to
rebuild an fb quiver at some point and fly them unhooked for fun and exorcise. Also, they are my favorite for static flying. I've gained weight
since selling them.
Edit: both reactors are incredible deals. Demoknight - 13-3-2015 at 06:50 AM
I can honestly say that if I hadn't just bought the Speed3 I would jump on this for the price. I just can't justify it now because I have something
that will do even lighter winds now :/
Too bad, because I love love love my Reactor quiver so far. Well, the 5.5 and 8.6. I am still on the fence about the 3.5. That little bastard
scares me. Most of the time there is wind for it, I would rather fly the Charger or just stay overpowered with the 5.5. Little fixed bridles are
just not my style, I think.
