What happened ? Where is my 30" of snow and 60mph wind ???
.... So disappointed .... It was hard to get full power out of my 14m when forecast was showing 35mph guests ,,,,'
Well ... I did kite .... so I should stop complaining

Kober, you got good film and editing skills.

The opening where the car windshield swipes away snow to reveal Gin logo is classic!

An open field within the city..?

white snow = White Stripes ♬ ♬..?

So you mean that this was not the End of Days????? From the pre-storm hype it sounded like that's what was coming.

Seriously, that's a really awesome video.

Every session or day I wanted to hit the lake has been the same drama - epic forecast, even great hourly updates but crap at the actual beach :(

Thanks guys .. I did not have much material to work with so its a bit short ...
And yes ... Gin logo thing did look good ... I come up with idea few seconds before I was planning to remove snow from my car ...

Hoping for more cool snowkiting sessions with a bit more action for next video ....

Lotsa fun Kober... who's that flying the Peak in the background?

Kober - 30-1-2015 at 03:39 PM

That was Eric ... he got peak 9m and Peak II 6m from Hardwater Kiting ...
I got some time on that 9m ... but conditions did not make it easy ... Very gusty wind is way better manageable on LEI kites ....

Killer video, Kober. Looked like a fun day. Regarding editing, I'm learning to throw out like 75% of my footage and my videos have gotten a lot better for it. Especially flat light stuff. Yours looks great.

Thanks Proletariat ... For every 1h of video material filmed I use about one minute for a final clip ..... It takes longer to go thru footage then actually putting video together ..

I know the pains of cutting together insanely long clips of footage. Good work, looks great! From what I heard, people were disappointed at the lack of life-threatening storms :D
