I like what I have seen of this kite so far. Not sure how it compares next to some of the Ozone or HQ depower foils, but I have heard mostly good things.

I'll bring some down to JIBE along with a few other new kites for you to try out Errol

Oh awesome! You are a bad influence as it is, making me lust after my that 22.5m Charger...

Sweet video Carl !!! probably my favorite of your productions. Dig the 360 pan. How heavy is the jib on your head..?

Carl are you liking the Leopard any more or less than your CH2s... Curious how they compare?

I too am interested in your impression. Nice looking kite and you seem to be boosting just fine. Can you describe its characteristics and safety?

watch his shadow on the ground during the 360 view (hint: look at the shadow from the top of his helmet around 1:25)

the jib is about 1.5m long and is made from pvc pipe so that bit is really light but the total weight depends on the weight of the camera and the counter weight.

the charger and the leopard are like apples and oranges and I had to change the way I fly slightly to get the most out of the leopard. the technique is pull the bar in to turn and send it, then as it climbs, let the bar out. as it reaches the zenith pull the bar in and up you go!

the safety is a one line 5th line #@%$#! out that goes to its own bridal. ive only tested it in really low winds when I first got the kite just to check the new push away release on the new bar.
the landing handle works brilliantly. ive used this when I was really over powered and it drops the kite straight away taking 90% of the power from the kite when its on the ground.
I liked the 13.5m so much ive also just got a 9m to complete the quiver

What did you use for the swivel on the jib..?

this is similar to how I made mine except I bolted 2 castors together and fastened a gopro mounting buckle to the bottom one. this way you don't have to drill the helmet and its detachable and if you wipe out badly, this is the weak spot where it will give
