Hello! just wondered if the flexifoil 4m viper was any good and if anyone has had a play. I believe its an older kite? let me know.soliver - 11-2-2015 at 12:53 PM
Are you Referring to the Peter Lynn Viper? If so yes... All sizes (2.6m, 3.9m, 5.3m and 6.8m) are all great kites. There were 2 derivations, the Viper
and the Viper S. I believe the main difference was the the Viper S had lighter weight Dyneema bridles, but I've heard there was not any major
performance differences. They were great kites and had a lot of fans. Considered an entry level buggy kite, but still with lift.
I've had 2 and loved them.
I am not aware of anything made by Flexifoil called "viper" but I might be wrong.soliver - 11-2-2015 at 12:58 PM
Whoa... Ok I googled it and I'm wrong but that does look hella old school.
Someone else will have to comment on that.kiteboyza - 11-2-2015 at 01:53 PM

The kite is about 15 years old. I wouldn't pay money for one! indigo_wolf - 11-2-2015 at 04:21 PM
On Kitecrowd which is UK based, there is currently a 3M Ozone Octane and 4M Ozone Flow.
You would be better served by kites that were designed in the 2000s.
Haven't flown the Viper, but older Flexifoils of that vintage had a tendency to deliver power in a brutal on/off fashion.... very steep power ramp.

you mean like a predator or modulas?kiteboyza - 13-2-2015 at 01:32 PM
Morrie, Predator was a great kite. Modulus was the travelling mans kite. My good friend Mick Parsons(sadly he passed away a few years ago. We
spread his ashes on the beach he loved the most) built and designed the Modulus. Spider Traction was his trade name. http://www.spidertraction.ic24.net/
His wife is still a friend of me on Facebook, I wonder if she has any of his kites kicking around... sadsack - 13-2-2015 at 02:52 PM
Kiteboyza that is a neat kite. I was thinking about doing something like that, well a nother good ideal shot.
