I need a job

Am a graphic designer as well... It's not a lush job, but it pays the bills. I'm not so sure that finding another job nor moving is going to solve the problem.... been there and done the same. I majored in graphic design along with recreation (yeah.. I majored in play). Use to love white water sports along with rock climbing, so I took a job teaching both out in Idaho. Have since moved back to Maryland where I was originally from. Also, needless to say my love for those things has since died somewhat, as it turned fun into "work".

Unless you have your own company doing whatever it is you think you want and will satisfy you that you're passionate about (even then there will be extremely trying times) I don't know that there is anything out there that will 100% suit the position you seek.

Best bet..be around people that you enjoy, do things that your passionate about outside of work and learn to love those things so much that it pulls you through the daily grind of work.

For myself....it's my wife, my new baby boy, kiting and riding my motorcycles that make life all worthwhile....work is just an apendage that provides me with the money to be able to do those things..nothing more and nothing less.

I know a few people that bartend that seem pretty happy going no place in life ( accept kiting ) . The job opens up your days, pays the bill, you meet all sorts and you can always fall back on graphics once it / you grow old. It's not a future but it's a lifestyle :bird:

I don't have it, always wanted to, I think the best job would be a Gigolo. Got all day to do what you want and the nights wouldn't be half bad either.:singing:

Work is a four letter word. Let's face it, we don't wake up each morning and go to "fun"; we go to work and work sucks, plain and simple. Most jobs aren't rewarding after you've done them long enough. But life costs money and work pays bills. My dad told me to find a rich girl and marry her. I was too altruistic...I looked for love - silly me.
