Ozone 4m Access prototype DP foil RTF now with pictures!

Cheeks - 12-3-2015 at 08:39 AM

For sale or trade for a NPW NASA Wing.

Ozone 4m Access prototype DP foil.
Got it from an Ozone dealer. Pulleys, etc. Great yellow and black spike graphics but without the logos.
It's new, 1 or 2 flights for testing. Super crispy.

Got it to train for DP with but haven't had the chance to because my de-power kite buddy is not single any more!
Need supervision for first lesson.

I have the new bar and line set but only a stuff sack for it to live in.

Make me a reasonable offer so I can get a NASA wing.
If interested I'll pull it out and send you some pics.

Yellow/black spikes... I'm assuming it's a 2013-14 era? If so you could probably fund 2 or more nasa's with that. Would be a great dp intro and even better high wind wing. Judging from my 6m this should be a blast in 30+, though it would power you well before that! Can't recommend the Access enough, especially with the fifth line safety that these model years have.

3 shot just rattled my brain in a U2U.
He said it was yellow/white/blue some spikes. I showed it to him at JIBE last year.
I better get this out and take some pictures. :P

Would like to fund at least one RTF nasa. So..... the price is right. Might require a buyer to do some home work
but I'll start it at $750 RTF.

Pictures soon if it doesn't rain tonight.

Just curious, are you working on a nasa quiver or just one particular size for specific conditions? I use my nasa wings a few times a week generally. If the weather and time allows.

YES!! we are growing our rag flapper division of the JWC aren't we?

Yes Spencer. Don't feed Nasa Stars after midnight!!!!!!! :D

Cheeks - 12-3-2015 at 07:41 PM

Well I don't think I need a full quiver but if the price is right??????
I was thinking that a 5.5 might be the right size for my local fields and JIBE. I do get to the beaches
a bit and might need a smaller one as well like a 2.5 or a 4.
Any suggestions?

Spencer, Is this a NASA contagious disease I need to know about?

Davis, Its my experience that the Nasa Star 2 closely compares to a FB in size. Meaning when I would fly a 4m Ozone Flow, a 4m Nasa Star would work just as well, with the benefit of a lot more low end grunt. So, I'd look into what size FB you use most, and start planning around that. In my humble opinion. I can tell you though, the wind will have to be border line nuking for the 2.5m
The 4, 5.5, and 7m are just about the trifecta :D

Ssayre will have a lot of good input as well. He's logged many hours on his now. He's our resident "Holgate".

I think they size very similar to fb's. Whatever sizes fb you use most now would be what to aim for. 2.5 is 20mph+, 4 is 14mph +, 5.5 is 12mph+, 7 is 10mph+. That's counting that I'm a heavy rider and I ride on thick grass and high resistance. You can go a bit lower in wind but this is what I think the minimum is to have fun.

The hardest range for me to cover with them is when the wind is 15 and gusting 20's. 2.5 is too small for lulls and 4 meter is a handful. I ran over my own arm the last time I was in those conditions lol. I got the peak for such conditions.

I just read this, I didn't realize I basically said the same thing. Also, I like being known as the resident Holegate.
