Did anyone get usable wind out of the storm?
The 101 mph gust reported in our local paper was about right at my house...
The lulls in-between the gusts was only about 20 mph - so 5:1 LOL.
I suspect someone must have gotten an epic ride...

Ha! Sunday was a wind watching day only! Driving southbound into the wind I was worried the buggy and/or roofrack it was tied to was going to be
ripped of our rig.
Though I was able to catch some riding up in Seaside on an earlier wave of the storm on saturday. It was nothing compared to sundays craziness, but
some of the gusts still left me piloting in survival mode.
Also, next time I'm buggying and it's raining horizontally.... i need to make sure I bring eye protection!

I sneaked a little pre-frontal SW action in Chinook, WA on the water/butter Friday after work...then came inside and watched the rest of the
weekend....LOL.
Trying to share from Google photos...let's see if this works:
(for those with good vision, Ft. Stevens Lot D off in the distance)

I was out there watching a great 30 mph straight onshore wind, wishing that there was somebody, anybody else out there just in case of a mishap.
Safety prevailed dang it.
