I completely forgot. Been so busy with work. Is St.PatricS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s day big in the U.S ?ssayre - 18-3-2015 at 04:13 AM
It's fairly big. There is parades in most cities and every bar has green beer. We always have corned beef and cabbage for dinner. RedSky - 18-3-2015 at 06:10 AM
:D Cabbage for dinner!!
Both my parents are Irish and bloody cabbage is what we grew up with. Boiling and simmering for hours in a big pressure cooker like a witches
cauldron. Windows steamed up and dripping with cabbage juice. What's with the Irish and cabbage? Still, it did us no harm I guess. There's nowhere
near as much fuss here over on St. Patricks day, at least that's my experience.Demoknight - 18-3-2015 at 06:40 AM
American's need justification to drink, that is all. They are binge drinkers because they can't manage it themselves on a daily basis. I suspect the
prudish attitude towards alcohol and recreational drugs brings this behavior on. St. PatricS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s day is honestly a sh*t show here in the
States. Everyone pretends to be Irish for a day and drinks crappy green beer and wears shamrock sunglasses.
But, if I am honest, it sure is fun!abkayak - 18-3-2015 at 06:59 AM
i enjoyed a nice Corned beef & Cabbage dinner....w/ some proper non-green yummy Nugget Nectar and maintained a proper attitude towards alcohol and
recreational drugs the entire day...and will do the same today
