12mm tube spacers

BEC - 25-3-2015 at 07:02 AM

Before I try to track some down...or have someone fabricate....Does anyone have the metal tube spacers for an original flexifoil rim....need at least 2 but having a whole set of 3 would be great....let me know....12mm ID is my bolt and standard 4" wheel

Also WBB is coming up.....Looking for a Rage 2.5, flexifoil handles (ones with the neoprene on top) and/or any other flexifoil Rages/blades/blurr....Not interested in other kite brands

Thanks and I can't wait to see everyone....

Man I can't believe how hard it is to try and buy some FB kites.....It's not like I'm asking for a SS Libre with a free kite bag, paid room at WW and possibly a lunch for 250.00....haha...Are we going to see you there?

clip up some copper pipe , easy, fast and available. i have used it alot with numerous spacer applications ...check pipe TYPE for fit over shaft there are subtle differences.

Looks like I have 2 under Peter Lynn part #'s. They are 55mm L x 12mm ID

Let me get home later and check my Flexi stock.

The standard wheel rims for both PL and Flexi are the same.

Thanks Angus....The last two years I have been bending 12mm bolts and/or having wheels coming lose...I think I had a 16mm spacer in the wheel with my 12mm bolt...Didn't seem to be a problem but became aware/issue when the spacer didn't hit the bearing when tightening down the axle bolt, so I just drove the spacer into my new bearing....About 1 hr into riding and the "........." hit the fan...@ 147 lbs. even though I ride hard I shouldn't be bending bolts.

Phreerider.....I will check into that option as well....wouldn't hurt to have extras too....

Not this year but I may skip WW next year and go to the Jibe Event....Would love to give that venue a whirl....thanks for the help everyone....

I have PL 12mm spacers in stock should you need some. Angus should be able to get you taken care of though. On the spacers, I belive they are 13mm x 55mm.

Yeah I jus have the two spacers. Kent is right of course in that while They are nominally sized at 55 x 12 mm, they spec out at 13 mm ID for wiggle room. If you want 3 of them then check with Kent.

Bruce it would be great to see you at JIBE. We'll give you a warm southern welcome. That involves a lot of sand.

BEC - 30-3-2015 at 06:10 AM

Thanks Angus....I will take you up on that offer ....there is nothing I love more then sand in all the right places....

Kent...most likely be placing an internet order today 3/30/15 so they make it to me on time...one last question....Does it matter that these are the original flexiwheels as opposed to PL wheels...I couldn't imagine that there is a difference...If they are the same spacer then I will just get a couple packages so I have one extra...Thanks again....S

Soon I will be on the beach screaming like a girl......WAHOO
