After the IBX event. March 31st - April 4th. I will sell my buggy

It will come frame only and with a 160cm rear axle. The buggy is medium sized with 16.5 inches between siderail pads, (42cm).

price: $1000 (dollar)

Also I would like to sell my brand new wheels (16inch). These wheels are custom made for this event. They are Haan wheels. Same make as were used in the last two buggy speed records.

Price: $750 (dollar)

If you are interested in the complete package, let me know. I can make a special price. And if it is necessary to ship stuff in America I'm sure we can arrange something.

If you are interested in my frame, wheels or buggy please send me a message.

end post.

If you are interested you can let me know and I can get you in touch with Mano

This buggy is now available for a total of $750. I need to confirm that it is $750 and not Euros. Wouldn't make a great deal of difference right now and would be an incredible deal either way. The wheels themselves would cost more than this new.

The buggy is at my home in Henderson, NV.

volock - 27-9-2015 at 06:51 PM

$750 is for buggy and wheels? 0.0

mougl - 27-9-2015 at 07:28 PM

Hmmm

skimtwashington - 27-9-2015 at 08:23 PM

Pics?

I guess it looks like this...But with different wheels(spoke rimed wheels)?

BeamerBob - 27-9-2015 at 08:57 PM

Looks like it. If I didn't already have Landsegler wheels I'd buY it just for the wheels. But this throws in a buggy for bonus.

skimtwashington - 28-9-2015 at 02:37 AM

Wheels a speed machine on hardpack, but likely worse than barrows on soft sand I assume. Must need a different front fork to accept bigfoot type wheels (for soft sand) or does that have a wide front fork ?

shehatesmyhobbies - 28-9-2015 at 05:49 AM

Hmmm medium build. I wonder if I fit that category now. 6' 195lbs I may have a buggy for sale!

shortlineflyer - 28-9-2015 at 05:57 AM

great job losing weight. you weigh less than me now

BeamerBob - 28-9-2015 at 05:59 AM

I'm guessing a 34-36" waist would be the right match for this buggy. Smaller would work too as you could add padding to the siderails.

Also, with the cheap purchase price, you could order the bigfoot fork, wheels and tires and have a world class beach buggy. That could be funded by the sale of the disc wheels. I could hold them to be sold to someone at IBX if that would help.

This would cost over $2000 to buy new and it was all new when Mano brought it over this spring.

This sale price is confirmed at $750 US.

skimtwashington - 28-9-2015 at 06:50 AM

So....these are the Haan spoked wheels , but with a disc cover -like the Landsegler?

Would you have to buy the GT brand fork, or would another fork brand(PL ) work for accepting Bigfoots - that would work in that GT's headset?

Oh... And what's the weight on this bug?

mainekite2 - 28-9-2015 at 07:40 AM

If someone is coming thru and can bring it to wildwood I'll do it

BeamerBob - 28-9-2015 at 07:44 AM

Yes they are Haan spoked wheels. 16" diameter. No covers are in place or provided.

It's no problem to put another brand fork on it but that would be a travesty to put a PL fork on a buggy like this. It's just a matter of seeing what matches up on the dimensions. I'm not hating. I put a PL Bigfoot fork and downtube on my Flexi. But please not on this buggy. :(

skimtwashington - 28-9-2015 at 08:21 AM

So , do you know the weight?..

BeamerBob - 28-9-2015 at 10:40 AM

WA guess would be about 100-120 lbs with no extra weight and the disc wheels. Race buggies in Europe have to weigh under 130 and this one doesn't have anything to push it heavier.

volock - 28-9-2015 at 11:51 AM

I'm super interested in just the wheels... Debating whether I really want to spend that and resell the buggy or what I want to do. Any price update on wheels only, or is a package deal for now?

BeamerBob - 28-9-2015 at 12:50 PM

The bare wheels cost more than this. I can work out parts and sell the buggy separately, but the wheels have to bring $750. Just the wheels would be relatively cheap to ship as well. If I didn't have two sets of Landsegler wheels I'd have sent him the money already.

volock - 28-9-2015 at 01:34 PM

Thanks for the quick response...

I'll have to think, and confer with the wife... As she and I really don't each need our own buggy right now, and I don't need the wheels, I just want them for something a bit nicer for cruising on my local fields. Though it's a steal of a deal.

Edit: Which fork is it on this? The small, regular or BFF?

BeamerBob - 28-9-2015 at 02:35 PM

It's shaped like a barrow fork but long enough to clear the 22" diameter tire and wheel.

mougl - 28-9-2015 at 03:06 PM

Could you calculate shipping to 34110?

BeamerBob - 28-9-2015 at 04:02 PM

Frankly, that would be quite a bit of work. I'd have to get it ready to ship to see box sizes and weights. I think it's about sold under a different approach.

Get a hold of Van. He had the 17" sysmic rims with tires available for a decent price. If you li,e I can contact him for you. I have a set and they are sweet

BeamerBob - 29-9-2015 at 05:59 AM

The Haan wheels are still available separately. They did not sell with the buggy.

Interested.

Got a picture of the Haan wheels?
What size axle bolt?

BeamerBob - 6-10-2015 at 11:13 AM

I can post a pic tonight. They have spacers to get larger bearings down to 20mm.

Good lord! Let me just clean the drool off my keyboard:o:o

BeamerBob - 8-10-2015 at 02:30 PM

Can you say Heavy Duty? The rims are the same width and diameter as my Landsegler wheels. These are the same tires as well.

BeamerBob - 14-10-2015 at 06:15 AM

Wheels are sold.
