Well I just got back from trying to fly the HQ on a bar. I was very disappointed, after adjusting brakes and the control line I got it to fly. But
could not control it. I have 6 foot of line on the control
bar. I hook that to the bridle of the HQ. The bar is only 19 inches
long.I am going have to make a longer bar. I could turn it 90 deg.
and the kite would not turn, but if I grab the control line with my hand and pull just a little more it turned. So longer bar and maybe 10 or 15 feet
of kite line. I can see now that I will be able to use my fine HQ for street skating. Sorry on photo I got a little pissed that I made the bar to
short. Ha Ha Ha Ha, my XO in the army was very short, every time I used the word short he would say " You didn't have to say short" For many years I
never used
that word. He died in 1968 Lam pum Vietnam. He was a good man and soldier

Renny, you tried that 5.5m Reactor II yet?

Renny - why not just use quad lines? The 2.5 was intended as a quad trainer - may not work that well as a dual line.

Oh, I was just playing around with a bar, never used one be for. I got it to work to day, on 10 foot lines. not much wind could not pull me on my
board on a sandy two track. flew for about 30 min. then the rain came and I left. worked very well on my home made bar.

Good. Glad to hear you solved it.

I try it today with a set of handle and a 20 foot line set. I was on my skate and going like a bat out of hell. Wind 10 to 20 MPH. One time on a turn
it all most pick me off the ground. Thrill, I nejoy to day very much.
