Where does your buggy live?????

Cheeks - 4-4-2015 at 02:50 PM

This should be fun and everybody should submit a picture/s of where you store your buggy when not in use.

I seen a few here. A front room, a garage, on a wall, in a trailer, etc.

So I'll get it started with the worst. Mine!
I was able to store my little KT3 in my shed but my Ivanpah is so HUGE I had no other
choice but to throw a tarp over it next to the fence.
I'll be building a separate shed for it this summer.

So, where does your buggy live?

Mine live in my shop... They get a bit dusty but they survive

Cheeks - 5-4-2015 at 04:58 PM

Nice shed. The wheel chocks are a good idea.
BTW... what's the JWC?

rtz - 5-4-2015 at 06:58 PM

In the vehicle and always ready to buggy. I got this from Big Mike in 2010, still rolling:

It's prime time buggy season right now. If anyone has free time and can travel; get out here for some wind:

I have my buggy and one for both boys along with helping store Chris's and Mano's buggies on my garage ceiling. Two are winched up with locking pulleys and the other three are on hooks. It works great. I have too much crap to store to not consider the third dimension for storage space.

Cheeks - 6-4-2015 at 06:14 PM

Come on Bobby, let's see some pictures bro.
No holding back, we got to see them.
No one's going to give you a grade.

Cheeks - 7-4-2015 at 11:45 AM

Come on fellows, post you pictures. :P

Might even encourage you to do some PM that needs to be done!

Cheeks - 7-4-2015 at 11:47 AM

ssayre,
are you organized yet? How many kites are in the wad?:D

BigMikesKites - 8-4-2015 at 06:31 AM

I had mine in the garage. VTT rear wheels off. PL XR+ rear wheels on. (This is how they fit in the bed of my truck). The VTT has moved to my new barn. The XR+ will next time I get it out. They are Nose up strapped to the wall.

Only 6 and a couple boards and harness mixed in :D

Did a little organizing yesterday.

BeamerBob - 8-4-2015 at 08:52 AM

Ok. I'll post a picture later today. Garage is a mess due to home renovations but the ceiling is in order.

Yeah, I figured those pictures would have you cringing. The dirty longboard wheels and grip tape in direct contact with the ripstop and everything wadded up together :o

I did finally get everything put back in order for the most part, but you really don't have to worry about them as long as the bridles are put back in the transport loops and line wound around the bar. You can pretty much stuff them any which way and there still always ready to go.

Good lord....:o I didn't even think of that. Yes, I am really loosing it now. Lol

Cheeks - 9-4-2015 at 03:26 PM

Post em fellows. 3 shot get your buggy home up here!

1oldkid - 9-4-2015 at 04:36 PM

Mine used to hang in the garage, but I was always afraid it might land on the car hood when I wasn't looking....and it was always close quarters opening the car hood to check oil, so now it hangs in the shed next to the yak.

Cheeks - 11-4-2015 at 09:59 AM

Nice dry place 1 Old Kid. Looks like a great shed for your toys.

My buddy Michael Gaylan has a place on his front porch where he keeps is buggy & kites.

You have to look real hard to see his gear because of other storage in front of them.

I'm going to have to sneak over there and take a picture. I'll probably get corralled by
his 5 ankle biters! :D

Here in South Carolina, we keep every thing on the front porch. Ice box's, washers, freezers, huntin and fishin gear and other toys.

BeamerBob - 11-4-2015 at 01:43 PM

Ok, lighting wasn't the best but you can see my buggy in front, the PTW Hero in back without it's back axle due to repairs being made and a Libre lurking in the background on the left.

I have heard about that front porch thing...people must be more trusting back there...and you wanna make sure you camouflage the GOOD stuff

Out here in the west we have back patios with covers to keep the hot sun of our beer in the afternoon. ( well some do in this neighborhood) and we hide all our stuff in the back yards.

Be careful of those small dogs, they are faster at nippin' ya than the big dogs!!:D

What happened to the Hero axle Bob?

The disc wheels put a much greater strain on the axle and the weld holding the threaded nut and plate on the end broke loose on a rough section of the Dirt Nap event. The other side gave way 2 years ago and was repaired by Kent at A Wind of Change. Screwyfits took the axle with him to repair it and I'll pick it up next time I pass through or if he comes back this way.

10-4!

soliver - 11-4-2015 at 09:11 PM

Jason, we still haven't seen yours?.... What's up with that?... Knowing your OCD, we are particularly interested in whatever sort of vacuum sealed and temperature controlled storage you have the Black Widow in... That or we have to see how close it lives to the lovely white floral motif'd sofa & love seat

Cheeks - 11-4-2015 at 09:39 PM

Get him Spencer!

Is Jason really OCD?

Now that I think about it, I didn't see a hair out of place in his 2 JIBE videos.

"Free Bird" ! ! !

3shot - 12-4-2015 at 12:32 PM

Hahahaha. Bwahahahaha
I'm not that bad. Lol. Well...
I was the only dude with a button down shirt on the buggy lol.

I wish I was more organized. I've had a buggy hanger made up for over a year, and she still sits in the middle of my garage floor.

soliver - 12-4-2015 at 12:41 PM

NICE PIC JASON!!!

And what an amazingly clean garage floor you have!!!!

3shot - 12-4-2015 at 01:34 PM

Yeah. So clean I think I'll eat off of it tonight. Lol.
I did spill my last beer in there today. 5 second rule.
I was pretty desperate :ninja:

Now this is a mans shop! Don't change a thing, you'll never be able to find stuff ever again. Great picture. Your bug looks cozy.

Are those steel wheels on your bug?

1oldkid - 30-4-2015 at 04:27 PM

Yep steel wheels, early Peter Lynn big foots I believe.
edit: I can't find anything about steel hubs from PL on the interweb, so they're probably just generic kart wheels. I picked them up third hand so don't know where they come from.
