For sale is a VERY crispy 10 meter Synergy. It's a rare find to get one in such good condition. The fabric is basically new, but the previous owner
must have put it into a bush because there are a handfull of small patches that are fully professionally sewn.

What's the wind range of a kite like this (145#s, landboard on packed sand) and is this more or less lifty then the Venom?indigo_wolf - 11-4-2015 at 07:37 PM
I'm 150 lbs and I would say that chart is right for the land. I ride water, but have done some land boarding. For me, the 10 meter size is the most
versatile. It will take unbelievable top end but is still agile enough to develop power in the low end.
As far as lifty vs the Venom, I don't really know. BeamerBob - 12-4-2015 at 08:23 AM
The Venom is sized based on an inflated kite and the Synergy began sizing based on an uninflated kite. Folks switching from a 13 Venom needed a 15m
Synergy for similar power.
I have a 10m Synergy that I haven't flown. I had one 4 years ago and it's the kite that took me over 50 mph at Ivanpah the first time. I need to
give it a try in my current buggy and see what it's speeds and wind upper range is again. It could be capable of runs over 60 mph or beyond.B-Roc - 12-4-2015 at 10:07 AM
So given the BeamerBob comment on the difference between the Syn and Ven, is the 10m synergy = a 10m DP foil or is it more like a 7 or 8? I was
thinking it was more like a 7/8 given my experience with a V2 but didn't realize they changed the way they sized things. Given the wind this kite is
normally flown in, is the self inflation OK or is a fan required?Flyfish - 12-4-2015 at 02:05 PM
I'll let others weigh in on the size question. But I think you might be right on 8 ish thought. I can say that for me, the 10 is a magic size in all
the arcs wether venom or Syn. I just find them to have a huge range.
As far as a fan goes. I've never used any fans or tools to inflate my arcs. From 15 meter down to 8's. I used to have a saying when I used to have a
19 meter venom: if it inflates, It will fly.
But I realize people in mountainous terrain might need a fan for any size to inflate them.BeamerBob - 12-4-2015 at 04:58 PM
This kite would have a much higher top end than my 8m Montana. Maybe 10 mph higher. Montana would power up sooner. Maybe similar to a 6m depower
foil.
Don't bother with one this size if it won't inflate while you unwind the lines. It should be waiting for you tight and ready to zip up.Flyfish - 18-4-2015 at 07:39 AM

My 10m Synergy and 7m Pulse have pretty much complete overlap.
I think I go to my 7m most often for the simpler ground handling in those stronger winds. Once in the air I love them both.
Definitely a size that if it doesn't fill with the present wind it won't be any fun to fly. B-Roc - 18-4-2015 at 04:48 PM
Are all the holes repaired or are there still pin holes and only major damage repaired?Flyfish - 18-4-2015 at 07:45 PM
Theres No pin holes that I've seen on the kite. Only those repairs that I showed in the pictures. They are very well done sew jobs and the fabric of
the kite is in excellent condition (again other than the patches). The kite truely is in great shape.B-Roc - 19-4-2015 at 05:10 PM
This kite has me interested for sure but I'm torn as I'm also considering getting a quiver to ride parking lots this summer.
Given that sand is likely blowing in the conditions I'd fly this kite, do arcs have dirtouts or how does one get the sand out when it blows in during
inflation?Flyfish - 19-4-2015 at 08:58 PM
Yes, there are dirt outs in the tips. Seems to deal with blowing sand no problem.Flyfish - 25-4-2015 at 09:07 AM

If I had the money I'd take it. I flew a larger one of these in the park and I really liked it. Imagine the speed you'd get from this kite. Feyd - 6-9-2015 at 04:15 PM
10m is a rocket. 12m is the sweet spot for speed tho. mainekite2 - 7-9-2015 at 05:40 AM
