Hi to all in the forum
I need to change my safety line on my Flysurfer pulse 8m....I was looking at the line.. how the heck I can remove the old line????...... :o
I have the older infinity flysurfer bar.. 5 lines on this kite
Where to start.... impossible to start.. it seems like, from the bar end because of the leash ring.. nothing to disconnect in the middle of the
line.... and those knots at the canopy top ( bridal.. so tight and heat melted ends.. DO NOT WANT TO DAMAGE THE OTHER bridal lines attached to the
same center canopy
fabric loops??!!!
:puzzled:pictures.. suggestion.. recommendations.. PLEASE.. thank you

If your just changing the 5th line or safety line from the bridal down just look at your current set up..........if you need to install the safety
bridal or riser to the kite just larks knot it to your center a, b, and z center tabs ( the small black anchor points).........the tab lines are
pressure/lbs rated to break away from the foil eliminating any damage to the sail........if you have a safety line installed take a pic and send it to
me..........I'll take pics tomorrow of the 5th line on my SA 2 and post them here.............

when i used my pulse2 it had a 5 line on it , i made a replacement couple times , actually had to do a splice loop for it to work properly. then
after a month or so i just dropped the whole thing, line and bridle attachment, unit flew so much better .
now i just go with the back lines for safety. the whole cluster mess it can make IF you use it! once is enough to change your mind. they worked but
fouled often if tips cross when bar runs up the lines.
gotta make the splice lines or buy them if thats possible ..powerzone would help with that

ok.. think about it.. I might just remove it.. as you did... PHREERIDER or would have to order the whole thing.. as I do not know how and do not have
the kit to splice lines....still I do not get it.. how the 5th line bridle attachment lines are connected to the other bridle lines at the canopy.. it
looks like very tight set of knots.. with the ends heat melted together.. must be the original factory set up.. no way I get that loose without
cutting some lines off
:o
thanks

the 5th line bridle is piggy backed onto each canopy tab(most center R or L , the melt is the knot end melt , it comes apart they are just looped
on.
for the worn replacement parts, i assume it is the spliced loop (and stitched) section closest to the bar.
remove ring first , there should be a loop connector about 5m +/- up the line somewhere to take out the worn section.

It's sunny and in the 80s today..........I've got a lawn to mow and bushes to trim but I will take pics and send them to you........the 5th line and
bridal.........I will tell you the 5th line is made up from 3 lines, 21m in length......3m, 12m, and 6 meter sections. If you remove your 5th line you
should covert it to the FL safety (FL is front line safety)........some folks prefer this setup over the 5th line.............not as easy a relaunch
as the 5th line and can be more difficult to relaunch........with time and experience I'm sure you'll work it out with one or the other......on a kite
that size and powerful you need to have a safety or your in for a word of trouble............actual any kite for that matter..........:o:o:D:D

Sola,
I took pics today just need an email addy...........I hope they help you. I'm thinking with your 3 piece safety line your 6m line from the bar is
probably the only line you need to replace. Regardless, Powerzone will make what ever you need. If you don't have mixer lines (fluorescent green
lines) in your kite kit you might want to order a set for each side and have them ready when the time comes to change them................

remember.....Usa or Canada supplier..thanks
