I know quite a few of us in this kite family have the "other wind vehicle" in their arsenal and after purchasing my first manta I have found no decent
forums for info and sharing like we have here for kites.
Could we justify a board just for the small group of fixed sail enthusiast to commiserate and co habitat among you? bugymangp - 13-4-2015 at 09:29 AM
i always thought that would be a good idea too.
me owning a blokart for me and a manta single for my wifeMorrie Williams - 13-4-2015 at 11:59 AM
I agree as I have a full sized land sailor and the wife has a Blokart.aronma - 13-4-2015 at 01:21 PM
I'd like it. Fran seems to post things on the NABSA site, but I'd really like it if we had a stronger presence here. It certainly would be a
better way to coordinate for events like WWBB.BeamerBob - 13-4-2015 at 01:26 PM
Put in a request for a separate forum page and see what happens. There is a great deal of crossover. Cheddarhead - 13-4-2015 at 02:54 PM
Even though I don't do it, I would still love to read about it. If it's powered by the wind I'm usually interested soliver - 13-4-2015 at 03:11 PM

This is exactly what I was thinking, & I totally agree... Give her a shot!riffclown - 13-4-2015 at 03:31 PM
I'd still like to se a section dedicated to GoPros and action cameras but that's a dead horse..ssayre - 13-4-2015 at 03:34 PM
Open the flood gates, I vote for a BBQ section but I'll settle for windy's threads. 3shot - 13-4-2015 at 04:49 PM
I sure a heck would love to own a Blokart or Zooter! I soooo miss the days of running the York River in my 16' Sunfish sailboat.
Throw back 1990's...

The colors remind me of this tadpole trike I see going around the lake here:

So how do we go about putting in the request?Bladerunner - 14-4-2015 at 04:02 PM
I think a section for land sailors is possibly the best one I have ever heard on here.
I have always seen us all as one group of land sailors. Possibly riding Sunset beach ( and now Washington ) is unique? There is ONE camp for all and
many choose to ride all. United even in our effort to open beaches.
To not have a land sailors section may have made sense when PKF was developed but having one makes good sense from a West Coast perspective these
days. indigo_wolf - 14-4-2015 at 04:19 PM

Gosh I miss ripping across a lake on a Sunfish with boat almost completely heeled over and your feet braced against the rim of the #@%$#!pit.

Good times for sure Sam! Exactly like you said. You'd hook your toes under the lip and hang way out of the boat. There was something special about
speed in the sunfish. The dagger board had a wicked hum when she got cruising. Gosh I miss that boat. Sorry OT
