Peak 1 - 9 meter

Not in any hurry (although I could be :D), but let me know if anyone has one of these or let me know if your planning a future upgrade to a peak 2. I would really like to have the original blue/black peak to go with my first generation peak 6

You n me both :)

If anyone in the UK wants to let one go give me a shout!

Thanks for talking me out of selling the one I have. I just had to face the reality that I like what I have and I'm no longer going to be able to sell my way to new kites.

I was out in my buggy with my 6 at the weekend. First decent buggy session! 26mph, on wet grass. The Peak is awesome!

Hey Robinson 26 probably felt like 50 didn't it. My fastest recorded runs have been with my nasa stars at my local spot so far. 24.5

Yeah in the little PL buggy it felt really fast! I was getting pulled sideways by the Peak as it was wet, but the kite was a joy!

Got to have a go in a 'proper' buggy aswell. A custom PTW Patriot. And man, what a difference. I shouldn't have sat in that thing though....I'm now in the market for a bigger bug! Will be a pain to have to break it down to transport it (I can get the PL in the back of my car with all wheels on!) but I'm willing to sacrifice that for the quality and safety of a bigger ride!!

My shopping list is getting bigger by the day.... Peak I 9m, Access 2015 6m, Big Buggy. Ouch!

So nobody with a p1 9m out there? If you have one you surely need to upgrade by now. I've sold a landboard, 2 stunt kites, a harness, 1 power kite and still have one for sale to acquire this. No big deal, just sayin ;)

Sean, I really hope you find the blue/black 9m P1 of your dreams! I'm incredibly excited to get my 9m P2 next week. With any luck I'll be able to fly it next Friday or the weekend. I had a great buggy session today with my 6m P2 in 15-20+ winds. Strongest winds I'd flown the 6m in to date. The stronger the wind the better the kite flew. When the winds were on the strong side of this range I was able to Park n' Ride pretty easily. In lighter winds I've found I really need to work this kite to get sufficient power for locomotion.

Paul - glad you had sufficient winds to pull the 6m out of your bag. Sure is fun to fly in this much wind!

Steve,
Glad you got some nice buggying in! It looked like it was some good wind. I haven't used my P1 9m for buggying but it was my most used kite for kite skiing.

Thanks Tami! Sorry we weren't able to meet today. I was looking forward to it. I ended up getting done with my son in the late afternoon and snuck out for a quick session. I should be getting my first of two LongStars next week. Please let me know when next you are in the SLC area!

For all those things that go "bump" in the night.... :D
