whoa . whats the fail safe like on that i wonder.
a little TOO consumer ready for my taste.
imagine putting the follow tag on your dog ...in public ..at a park...with other dogs
bobalooie57 - 13-5-2015 at 08:29 AM
Or, while following me down the beach in the buggy, it severs the lines on anyone chasing me!

So - who is going to be the first to get one?
flyguy0101 - 13-5-2015 at 12:33 PM
What a great find- I have spent the last couple of days looking at flight controllers for my quad to do the same thing- if I can make it work will let
you know- for any of the rc geeks- am looking at an apm 2.6 and then telemetry radio for the follow me setup

Very cool. Drones are just getting cheaper, smarter and smaller every day. Soon they'll be fly sized then flea sized then what? Dust size?

Just take my wallet...:evil::evil:
skimtwashington - 13-5-2015 at 03:50 PM
20 minutes is very limiting with no way to charge in field .
RedSky - 13-5-2015 at 04:13 PM
Buy it, unpack it, charge it, throw off bridge, forgot to switch on.
skimtwashington - 13-5-2015 at 05:03 PM
At faster speeds in buggy (25+mph) you will have the drone falling farther and farther behind you..until you wait for it to catch up....(or never see
it again!)
And it states a Max. following height of only 50 ft....?
Your drone is in other kite buggiers' kites flight altitudes...... if anyone is catching up or overtaking you...or coming from opposite direction.
Will it not fly physically higher or is this just a 'Max'
for best filming(distance from subject) ?

Regardless of its limitations, its pretty freekin' cool.
Demoknight - 13-5-2015 at 10:12 PM
Well, I can see myself using this on my local beach for sure, but it wouldn't be much use to me at a place like Jekyll where I might take off at
40+mph for 6 straight miles. Even racing quad copters don't really sustain any kind of speed like that for more than a few seconds. It would be
awesome for side shore days though!
skimtwashington - 19-5-2015 at 02:40 PM
just caught this on it..
