13m Venom 1, Peter Lynn XR with ice blades

Due to lack of use i have decided so sell my kite gear. After loosing permission on the soccer fields and the open fields surrounded by barbwire just don't do it for me anymore I have decided to sell. The ice is about the only place i could have fun and ice fishing has taken over that time. So what I have is a Peter Lynn Venom 1 13m, bar, lines and bag, Peter Lynn XR buggy with ice blades and wheels. As far as prices go let me know if I am out of line. 200.00 for the kite setup and 350.00 for the buggy with blades. Shipping is on the buyer. All the gear is in great shape and all bought used from members on here. The buggy does have one spot where the frame meets the axle mount that cracked due to a blowcart conversion that twisted the frame. I had it welded by a shop so its not as pretty as factory but is just as strong if not stronger. I have a few pics for now and can work on more if needed. Thanks,,

I'm interested in the ice blades if you will split them from the bug

For now I would like to sell blades with the buggy. Its kinda a selling point in case someone close by SD,MN might be interested. Seems the best conditions we get around here are frozen lakes. Thanks for the offer.

eggy, are those blades a home build? Are they wood with metal inserts? I'd like to build a set of my own, but don't know where to start. Any info you could give would be helpful. Thanks, Bob

The blades are a plastic with steel inserts. I had to make mine like a sandwich due to the plastic needing to be doubled up for strength. If I was to do it again I would buy the plastic so it was thick enough so all I had to do us run them over a table saw to create the space for the blade to fit up in it. I just came up with a shape that looked like it would work. I do have patterns of blades I will take pics if u like.

I think I can probably come up with something. Are they about 2 feet long, and do you use the bearings/spacers you would use with the wheels?

I want a pair of those blades! How well do they work? As good as wheels?

They work great. I just used a hockey puck and a washer on both sides of the blade for spacers.

Thanks flyfish! Yep that's your pic. Unfortunately I never really took any great pics of the kite in action. I do have a gopro vid on ice so I do have some proof I can kite. Lol.
