I'm looking to purchase a used 12M Flysurfer Peak2, complete with all the trimmings that come with a new one (viz., control bar, repair kit, etc.).
Please help a guy out in need of a low wind single skin DP snow kite!
If interested, please send me a U2U. Thanks! :bigok:
Edit: I was able to pick up a used one at a fair price. :karate:

I don't think they come with the bag/harness combo. That's an option. Most opt to use their own harness finding both together would be rare I would
imagine.

Thanks ssayre! I have edited the post accordingly.

Obsession, who said anything about obsession? I do like my wind sports and my skiing the most. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Dark,
rich, and sexy... I like it!

my fav beer/ Founders Porter...im a bit ocd myself, its a good prerequisite for this sport

The OCD thing seems both a blessing and a curse. Most certainly helps me professionally in terms of preparation and dotting every I and crossing
every T. I tend to come ridiculously loaded for bear to pretty much everything I do. The finesse is tuning it down to the world external to myself
so I don't become "one of those guys". I pull this off "most days". No you
can't check that against my wife.
Founder's Porter - allrightythen. What I used to call "liquid bread". I'm more of a IPA guy myself when I want substance (think Green Stinger West
Coast Double IPA) or when I want something not quite so heavy then a good Euro Pilsner (think Stella Artois, Pilsner Urquel, etc.). In fact, a guy I
used to work with had a nickname for me: "Reassuringly Expensive" from the old Stella ad campaign.

You guys like the high brow stuff. Just give me a good old Coors Light.
Windstruck - 4-6-2015 at 06:58 AM
I hear you loud and clear ssayre. As a matter of fact, I was in Golden, CO just two days ago and could see the Coors Brewery chugging away! Nothing
wrong with a basic beer, nothing wrong at all. Had I known your proclivities I would have picked you up a fresh pony keg right off the line.
Truth be told I usually go weeks with out touching any type of alcohol so when I do break out and drink something I do go for high end. Got to save
$$$ for kites!

I know nothing of this kite OCD....
Coors light was on sale last week. Have a case in the fridge

Way to go 3shot. Don't line them up to straight. Labels don't all have to be forward.

Dude.... I could totally send you a pic right now that would have you laughing your @$$ off! You nailed it!!

3shot - birds of a feather....
I had a feeling I was in the ballpark
BTW, had a spectacular OBE today. Not hurt but it was a classic. I had a 4M FB up in way too much wind running off handles with kite killers. I
over steered upwind, came to a stop and brilliantly let the kite drop down into the power zone back the other way more or less off my back right
shoulder. Whoosh! I was instantly face first on the grass about 10 feet beyond my bug sliding fast. I must have slid five more feet before my
primitive brain thought to just let go of the handles. I cracked up laughing and got back on. I felt like the guy water skiing that goes Aquaman
underwater instead of just letting go of the handle!

Get a GoPro!!
Back when I was first learning about bugs I had a "greenhorn" moment where I thought I could launch and zip the kite to the zenith and hold it there.
It was windy, I was nervous and had a deathgrip on the handles...
All that did was launch myself straight forward and up right out of the buggy...didn't think to keep my feet under me...
twisted left and landed on my right shoulder...all in what seemed like a nano second!
I still feel that shoulder sometimes to this day...
Glad you weren't hurt Steve!
Windstruck - 6-6-2015 at 08:08 AM
Thanks 1oldkid! Actually the only part of my bod that got hurt at all was my medial malleolus of one ankle. Must have banged in on something when I
hit the eject button. I had a full motorcycle helmed, high end knee and shoulder pads, and gloves. I'm thinking shin guards would be a good idea too.
I was a downhill ski racer through college so I've definitely had my share of bangs, bruises, and broken bones over the years. Not looking for any
repeats at 54 thank you very much !:bisou:
