Prefer a minty Peak 1, 6m.
Anything out there?
3shot - 6-6-2015 at 01:26 PM
Peak 2 would work too..
3shot - 24-7-2015 at 10:56 AM
Anyone?
Windstruck - 24-7-2015 at 11:49 AM
Bumpity, bumpity, bump! Good luck Jason. Folks don't seem to part with the Peaks too often. If this proves futile I've got a great extra-crispy PL
Lynx 9m I could part with.... :P
3shot - 24-7-2015 at 02:59 PM
Not really interested in other kites
Just interested if there are any 6m Peaks.
pongnut - 25-7-2015 at 08:47 AM
You may want to contact Flysurfer USA directly, as that's where I picked my gently used one up from. Can't hurt to ask.
Flysurfer USA
Windstruck - 25-7-2015 at 09:55 AM
Jason - pongnut made a good suggestion about contacting Flysurfer. I am also starting to sniff around for a 6m Peak, for me the P2. Not to tread on
your thread I included a note for you just now when I reached out to contact them through their web page. Here is what I wrote:
"I am a devoted 12m Peak2 fan. It has been my go-to buggy kite for much of the summer, sometimes with the standard lines and sometimes with 5m line
extensions to eek out a little more power on low-wind days.
I live in Park City, UT and plan to do extensive snowkiting this winter. Winds are much stronger in winter around here and my 12m P2 will be too much
kite a lot of the time.
I was wondering if you would have a lightly-used 6m Peak 2 kite that you could sell me? I would need it "kite only" since I have lines and bar
already with my 12m setup.
I also have a friend Jason aka 3shot that is looking for a used 6m Peak. He would prefer the Peak 1 but would take the Peak 2 if need be. I suspect
he would want the complete set up, but I'm not sure about that.
I hope to hear great news back from you!
My best,
Steve (aka Windstruck)"

Thanks Steve . I didn't see any listed on their used kite classified.
Windstruck - 25-7-2015 at 02:38 PM
Yeah, saw that too. That looked to me more like "classifieds" than possible company stock. I thought I'd send them an email just to throw a line in
the water. Jason, are you looking for kite-only or RTF?
3shot - 25-7-2015 at 03:30 PM
Complete rtf.
soliver - 25-7-2015 at 03:31 PM
I've always been under the impression that the Peak (1 and 2) doesn't have a Kite only option... may be wrong though.
ssayre - 25-7-2015 at 03:33 PM
I don't think they ever came kite only that I'm aware of.
Windstruck - 25-7-2015 at 04:30 PM
I bet you are right about the kite-only versus RTF option. I've never Peak2's advertised that way either. That was why I was contacting folks
directly to see if they had any "spare" kites. I'd hate to have to drop the bucks to get a second set of lines and bar. It's not as if I can fly
both at once. One of the reasons I've been slowly switching over to a single-skin quiver is because of how light these kites are and how small they
pack up. It is my intention to keep both P2s (6 and 12m) in the same backpack and pull out the one I want on the spot depending on wind conditions.
Windstruck - 26-7-2015 at 05:51 AM
Jason - Continued good luck with this! If and when this comes through for you please post something on this thread. I want to start looking for a
lightly used 6m Peak 2 for myself too, but I'm going to wait until a deal works out for you before posting something in the WANTED section. Silly to
have two of these requests floating around at the same time... :cool2:

Hope to snag one up soon Steve. Fall is coming....
I got to see a 6 and 12m at JIBE. Can't wait to fly one!
Windstruck - 26-7-2015 at 06:05 AM
Sounds like a plan! Before we settled for good out West we lived in both North Carolina and Georgia. The only thing I miss about not living there is
not being able to see my great PKF friends live at JIBE.
Oh well, I'll just have to make due with going to the Ivanpah Buggy Expo (or whatever they are calling it these days!) next Spring. :D
3shot - 26-7-2015 at 06:44 AM
Would love to see you at JIBE Steve! I know its a haul, but you must come. The Mrs. Would love the kite wives support group all week too. There is
always an extra buggy or two that people gladly share. If bigkid and csadeadon can make it from Seattle, you can too . Just being your @$$, kites, and sunscreen!!!!!!
3shot - 26-7-2015 at 10:23 AM
Double post. Oops
3shot - 26-7-2015 at 01:47 PM
Peak found!
acampbell - 26-7-2015 at 03:38 PM
Man on a mission! Congrats.
Windstruck - 26-7-2015 at 04:13 PM
Glad that came together for you Jason! For the win!
3shot - 26-7-2015 at 05:44 PM
Still curious what Flysurfer has to say.
Windstruck - 26-7-2015 at 06:50 PM
Me too Jason. Hopefully hear something this week. I'll let you know what I hear.
