For sale is my mint 8m GIN Yeti depower. Complete rtf. I only flew it like 2 times. I got this from Smeagol, and he only flew it like 2 times on grass
as well. Kite, bag, bar, and lines are excellent crispy condition IMHO, and I'm pretty OCD. There might be two dead blades of grass in the bag, which
I will probably dig out lol.
The kite is chili color, but the bag is curry. There are endless storage options in this bag! 5th line safety, and crazy good GIN quality. This kite
falls between the Ozone Access and Frenzy as far as performance goes in the same time period (I'm told). Let me know if you need more pics.
$525.00 and I'll free ship Conn US.!

I've never flown this brand but I can vouch for 3Shot....He takes immaculate care of his kites. I purchased one from him not too long ago...very fair
and dealing with him through the process was great...Good Luck with the sale....nice color scheme...
Kober - 20-6-2015 at 06:13 PM
Sorry to see you letting it go . As most I alway loved Yeti for it looks and 5th line safety . 8m is a lot of fun because is still very fast for its
size . New owner will be vey happy with this beauty .....

Such a sweet looking kite!
ssayre - 8-7-2015 at 05:24 PM
I just took a look at the manual. It has the best description of wind ranges for each size I've ever seen. Each size is broken down in 3 catagories:
Static, riding, expert or heavy rider. Very useful information. Most of the time it's pretty vague
Windstruck - 8-7-2015 at 05:46 PM
Sean - wow, you're right! Very cool to see wind ranges broken down that way. Most useful across the board really as even though that table wouldn't
directly translate to other kites, the ratios are likely reasonably consistent.
Big ranges! For the biggest kite it goes from a top end for static flying at 8 knots (a breeze really) up to 20 knots for a heavy rider. Here's the
rub though. The heavy rider (me and many others on PKF) still need to launch the kite! I'm no expert in the buggy but I would tend to launch a big
kite two ways in 20 knot winds: 1) stand near but downwind to the buggy, put the kite at the edge of the wind window and launch it, working
desperately not to let it cross through the power zone on route towards zenith to avoid getting yanked out of my socks; or, 2) setting up the kite
downwind, sit down in the bug with it facing pretty much directly downwind, back up the buggy with my feet until the flying lines are taught, take a
big gulp of air and pull back on the front lines. I actually prefer this second approach, something I tend to call Toad's Wild Ride. Makes for one
heck of a start to a lively session. :D
ssayre - 8-7-2015 at 06:16 PM
Here is one for the hq apex. How the heck would you know what size you need based off that. Sorry for the Thread drift Jason.
3shot - 8-7-2015 at 07:32 PM
No apologies. That's why I put the link up tonight. Good info in there. Its a great kite. I've always liked black kites. This one does please. Someone
here needs this, they may just not know it yet.
soliver - 8-7-2015 at 09:00 PM
I also can vouch for the condition that Jason keeps his kites in.... IMMACULATE for certain!!!!
Good luck buddy!!!
3shot - 9-7-2015 at 03:38 AM
Thanks Spencer!
Windstruck - 9-7-2015 at 06:01 AM
Good luck Jason selling this gem! I'm with you, that kite with its black color theme looks beautiful. Not in the market right now. I'm sitting
tight waiting to see what Steffan graces with us next in the STAR line!
3shot - 9-7-2015 at 11:42 AM
That will be the Ultra Star Steve. Due out any day I think.
T-Dot - 9-7-2015 at 07:13 PM
I've checked this thread a few times and I keep asking myself the question of whether this kite would be good for me a 260 pounder to use in the snow?
If someone says yes I will be really disappointed because I really don't have the funds right now.
3shot - 10-7-2015 at 03:43 AM
Well I'm 6'2 and 215 pounds. Its had no problem snatching me when I asked it to. Kober can attest for these Yeti's in the snow. He has several you
tube videos with his. I think weight being pulled is proportional to the wind speed a kite is flown in. Same with any kite. The Yeti is designed as an
explore/go anywhere kite, so it has plenty of grunt and a little pop if asked to do so.
All boxed up. Just need to put a name on it!

Few more pics..
Windstruck - 16-7-2015 at 08:09 PM
Man, that kite is bad assed! I'm digging its colors. Not trying to tease Jason, I know you are trying to sell it... I've got a NS3 8.5 and it is
just too close in size to do more than overlap with my existing quiver. Seeing the black like this makes me wonder why more kites don't get color
schemes like this. Good luck; somebody's going to snatch it!

Smeagol - 18-7-2015 at 04:51 PM
Heh, I can vouch for the condition on this one. It was essentially new when I had it. Kind of miss it. If I could ever sell my apex 3 I'd probably
snag this one back.
riffclown - 19-7-2015 at 03:56 PM
And I can vouch for 3shot's OCD on keeping his gear ultra nice.. He could just about buy a new kite and improve its condition and I DO mean that as a
sincere compliment... If he says "mint" you have no need to doubt it..

Windstruck - 21-7-2015 at 06:06 PM
Way to go Jason! Very happy for ya bud. With all that newfound kite kash burning a hole in your PayPal account I think I'm smelling a new Long Star,
(or dare I say it?) the fabled Ultra Star in your near future!
ssayre - 21-7-2015 at 06:50 PM
Hmm, silent buyer I guess. Where's the fun in that:P
utahtami - 22-7-2015 at 02:11 PM
Silence is golden.

WUHOOOO!!!
More single skin stuff for YOU!!!
volock - 23-7-2015 at 11:40 AM
I'm jealous Tami. I'm still debating what to get for my first single skin
Kober - 23-7-2015 at 01:25 PM
so ...... who got it ? Tami ? Who is my new Gin brother ? ....lol
3shot - 23-7-2015 at 04:00 PM
That would be GIN kite sister Kober!
Windstruck - 23-7-2015 at 04:45 PM
Always love seeing a woman in the fold. Too much of a (nearly) all boy's club over here. Go get 'em girl!
Kober - 23-7-2015 at 07:40 PM
Sister ? ...... I always want to have a kiting sister .... lol ...
utahtami - 26-7-2015 at 03:43 PM
Volock: Kite skiing in 52 degrees with a platter of red and green chili awaiting sounds like it warrants another trip
Kober: Where does the GIN tribe have the family cookouts?
Windstruck: Will you let me demo some kites end of August?
3shot: Great kite, thanks!
Windstruck - 26-7-2015 at 03:50 PM
Utahtami - of course! You have your location noted as Basalt, CO but your username has Utah in it so I'm all confused.:dunno: Please set me
straight. I know Basalt is up somewhere near Aspen. And I thought I had janky winds! :D
I live up in Park City. It would be great to kite with other fellow enthusiasts. Bring it on!
volock - 26-7-2015 at 06:12 PM
Hopefully a trip with better snow. I have a bunch of friends who Ive brought into the fold who want to try snow out. Right now I just want wind to
give me new buggy a proper shakedown
