Get stuff help a brother out .

So here is the deal. I am cash-strapped trying to pay my mortgage. On top of that the HOA is hassling me for $. My vision is failing and without insurance or Medicare, I don't know how I can pay the $5000-$6000 surgery fee.
So I am selling off some more of what I have collected. Please share this on your page so I can, hopefully, reach more folks and sell more of this stuff.
Prices too high (or low)? Make me an offer.
I appreciate all you do. Thanks

Lots of stuff there, but the dates go way back to 2010. Windpower sports in Las Vegas? Anyway, do we contact him direct to find out what is still available?

BEC - 11-6-2015 at 06:46 PM

Is this legit?...I see a kite on Facebook that I want....I would love to just paypal for it and get my kite but date on the kite pic has me a bit worried...Can someone help me out a bit on this....thanks.

bobalooie57 - 11-6-2015 at 06:55 PM

Bruce, I'd call the number listed tomorrow, as it says closed now.

markite - 11-6-2015 at 07:04 PM

You can send Corey a message on wind power / facebook. I asked about something earlier today of one of the things posted from 2014 and Corey responded within an hour or so and looking into shipping costs for me.
I think Corey will be straight up with any inquiries on availability and shipping etc.

I posted on FB and someone posted back and said to paypal to account (windpower sports) but I"m still a bit apprehensive ...I would think between my credit card and sending money through pay pal to a business would cover my butt....

utahtami - 11-6-2015 at 08:04 PM

Bruce,
Is that Rage calling your name?

bobalooie57 - 11-6-2015 at 08:07 PM

Or that 4M Blade 2? I don't think you'll have any problems with Corey, he's been around for ever! You probably have watched some of his how to videos, I know I have.

Ever see this one? http://www.windpowersports.com/guides/kite-chi.php

markite - 11-6-2015 at 08:17 PM

After Coery closed the brick and moral shop he still kept the windpower business selling the remaining stock online between walks with Ben (his dog). Corey's one of the pillars of the early days of buggying in the US and he knows many of us but hasn't been on PKF in a couple of years. It will be him responding to messages and as a long time friend I would be 100% comfortable in dealing with him. You can also look him up as Corey Jensen on Facebook if you want to get a infusion of his daily jokes.

Why yes it is....I need another kite like I need a hole in my head but that was a great deal......

i dont need or want any more kites but i would like to send a gift check.
i dont do paypay. anybody know where and to who i send a check.
i always loved to see corey when i went out to nabx. i think of him
as one of my kite brothers. he is my thoughts.

BEC - 12-6-2015 at 05:24 AM

I've got one of these already....I don't get into the tech part of most kites....I basically just feel the wind on my face...grab a kite that I think will work for conditions and have a great time...however I will say there is a huge difference in the blade II series to the III. They are easier to fly (less bowtie) but I can't deny that my blade II hasn't made me smile once or twice...

Corey's site is not set to private and anyone can look at his page there without giving a blood sample or any private data. You just have to click on the link and go there like any other web page.

Randy - 12-6-2015 at 09:32 AM

Do you still have any of the c-quads?

ssayre - 12-6-2015 at 09:38 AM

I was thinking the same thing Randy. I'm not in a position to buy but you should contact him with one of the above mentioned avenues.

bugymangp - 12-6-2015 at 10:03 AM

hey randy
check your u2u

Bladerunner - 12-6-2015 at 06:34 PM

I am a big fan of the C-quad. At $100 it would be worth every penny.

The stiff frame and sharp front edge make this a complete different single skin in how it performs next to the new ones, I suspect? With the stiff frame you can really alter the AOA like a Rev' kite.

The spars are the major draw back with C-quad. They are easily damaged when crashing and even packing the kite. The packed kite forms a LARGE thin circle. 3ft + round and only about 1/2" thick. This makes for real weird shipping costs. Be sure and confirm shipping fees.

BEC - 14-6-2015 at 05:14 AM

I sent out a pay-pal payment on Friday at 8 am for the 4.7 rage....Messaged WindPowerSports via FB on both the original post and on WindPowerSports FB page and now on here....All I want is a confirmation that payment was received and that we are all set to ship this out. There was also the confirmation e-mail from PayPal too stating I had sent the money and I haven't heard a thing back.

Can you un-do a paypal payment?....Would love the kite and to help someone out with purchasing items to generate money but not feeling at ease with this transaction.....

acampbell - 14-6-2015 at 06:05 AM

You will be ok with Corey. He is a long standing member of the kite industry (if not
A bit of a character). And yes you have avenues of restitution with PayPal - They favor the buyer over the seller every time.

BEC - 14-6-2015 at 11:03 AM

Thanks....I will let it go then....not flying it anytime soon and want to be sensitive to people maybe not feeling well. I got a great deal and I know that kite is going to make me smile a whole bunch.....

ssayre - 26-6-2015 at 01:02 PM

Sounds like a "dirty rage caper" is on the loose. That's a shame, I hope you can work something out.

djsiryn - 26-6-2015 at 02:57 PM

I just bought some bindings for my landboard from him and had no problems. He shipped fast too. ;)
