Long Beach, WA - Little solo downwinder...Switch Helium 18M

crazyherb - 17-6-2015 at 10:23 PM

Quiet in here...so here's a little post from last weekend:
Wife video'd me while working my 18M Switch Helium like a mad dog in 10-13mph and chop...for an 18M this thing turns great and keeps me planing!

Enjoy!

How do you think my speed 4 would do in light winds?

Jeff,
Would love to try out your Speed 4 sometime!! I have yet to get under a Flysurfer, what size is it?
Give me a call, next time this way!

It's a 8m. Might have to add a bit of line to make it work in light wind.
110m should make for a fantastic day on the board

Well not that long, but doubling the line length might be a good starting point for the 8m.
No question that Speed can stay in the air but to pull you you'd need it to travel a good long arc for that small size.

I can ride my 10m Rally on 37m lines when other folks need a 15m wing. Flysurfer standard is 21m lines by default so there's a way to go longer.

Still shredding Long Beach all by myself....here's one from a couple days ago Cranberry to Bolstad...wife is running chase car in my truck.

18M Switch Helium on 30M lines in "threshold" winds... 8-13MPH..
