I know I am not the only one. It happens to a lot of us. We buy a kite, and are eager to fly it. Blood pumpin through our body. Here we go. Here we
go. Yaaay...but no go.
Not for days.
Either thunder, rain or just no wind.
So we sit at home, looking at the kitebag and checking the weather way to much.
It is happening to me now. The curse of a new kite. And I can use some warm uplifting words, since the kite has not lifted me yet.
Or you can post pictures showing me what fun I am missing out on.
Either way I take it in with pride.
Feel free guys and girls.Cheddarhead - 2-7-2015 at 06:34 PM
Oh yes, the dreaded kite curse:evil: I have two kites I haven't even used yet due to low winds. Your not alone, only winds we're getting right now
are with thunderstorms. Hard to keep the brain off kiting when there is no wind in sight. djsiryn - 2-7-2015 at 06:36 PM
I know how that feels. I just bought a couple new kites and there has been no for wind for weeks or it has rained for months! Had some wind today but
it was ill advised of me to go out. took out my 13m and the winds seemed nice enough until I got above tree top lever where they were gusting to
30mph! Fully depowered and I was still having a hard time keeping it down. A couple of scary violent unexpected lofts and I called it a day. I just
wanted to fly so bad I risked some danger. All week this week is gusty 10 to 30mph........ LOL! We either have no wind at all or we have ALL THE WIND,
ALL AT ONCE!!!! :Pdjsiryn - 2-7-2015 at 06:37 PM
It's the same thing with the mountain bike group I ride with. Every time someone gets a new bike it rains or floods. LOLhiaguy - 2-7-2015 at 07:35 PM
I call it "being home".
Wanna fly/ride? I gotta leave town.PHREERIDER - 2-7-2015 at 07:38 PM

Do you edit it out, or can you literally fly that long with never looking up at the kite? Most impressive.
Hang in there Devoted, it will gust for you soon.Devoted - 3-7-2015 at 04:50 AM
I am just home from my nightshift and feel so heartwarmed by your reactions. This will get me through this harsh no wind times.
Yes I kitesurf too, but feel way more comfortable on land. Although now I live close to the Banana river where the water is about 2 or 3 feet.
Well..first a beer, than a nap and when awake stick my head out the window to check the weather.
Good night all.Windstruck - 3-7-2015 at 04:55 AM

If I lived near a beach, I would have arcs no doubt. Hope the wind blows for you. For me, winds are 5 - 10 today. going to try the big blade in bug
and if not enough, I will be on the longboard with the blade. I'm certian there will be enough wind for that.abkayak - 3-7-2015 at 06:46 AM

I loved my V2 collection. Thats my reason to get arcs. And for me the golden rule is that the wind should be strong enough to fill an arc without any
problem to ghost ave fun with it.
But i had a Fs speed dlx once and know the benifits and downsides of that kite. Biggest benifit was low end options. I have some low wind sessions
taped. Time to dust them off. Haha.
part of low end history..The Air Evolution X-air 10 got me riding before anything. Thought it was a hidden jewel at that time for its low end options.
