I've been battling rain and light wind for a week but that's ok, everything will be alright

Blades are incredible kites. Flexifoil got a winner with them. No matter what brand, when it comes to lift and the adoration position ( 2 arms up to heaven) the Blade is your kite.
When it comes to spanking your butt too.

If you look closely when steering the kite, you see half the kite is working to get it done.

The blade is pure freestyle and in my opinion handles kite number one. The Blade is the only handles kite i treat with the respect it deserves. Because it can spank that bad. And its heavy to pull that kite into a 360 degrees circle

I love to see them. They are like the pl phantom 1 to me.

Will i ever get one again..no.
I think I got lazy and love boarding the easy way.
Gosh did Flexifoil had a winner with that one. And no brand was able to get it really covered.

Nice! Good to see video of the old girl again. Being stuck inside a bag for so long is such a shame, so I'm well pleased to see you fly her. I'm discovering static flying for the second time and it is good.

Nice video ssayre! I liked your music choice. Talk about desperate times calling for desperate measures. Your kiting in wet conditions is just that to me. The one time I did that was somewhat by accident as I played out a session to long even though I could see the clouds coming in. It left my kite a soggy, heavy mess. I vowed not to do it again!

Seeing your buggy starting at 41s in had me thinking (again) about constructing a backrest for my BigFoot. I know there are threads buried in PKF so I'm going to snoop them out. Out of curiosity, what is your "roll bar" made of? Did you repurpose something or build it from scratch?

Nice one Sean. Hang in there. Better winds are coming. We've actually had a bit of wind which is very unusual for this time of year. Most of my static flying spots are now not very usable because of all the leaves on the trees and my lake launch is filled with water.

Thanks guys!

Steve, the backrest is called the ssayre springback 1.0 :D

I built it from scratch and works great. Here is the thread where I was trying ideas and building different ones. The main support is 1" pex held on with chain link fence rail clamps with rubber between clamps and siderails and pex to keep from slipping. The red strap is a piece of webbing wrapped around and tied. There is no need for padding and the webbing helps hold you in and doesn't get in the way. What ever you do. Make a back rest of some kind. It makes a pl buggy much much more enjoyable
