i dont know of its allowed, but Sandy Beach is a great and wide beach. You can see the skyline of New York and have a great time.
One of the best beaches Ive had the privalage of going to.
Need eastern winds.

this arc thing is new to me so I want to concentrate on that now
what is this Sandy beach you speak of?? aren't they all?

Sandy hook is kinda far away for my weekly kiting fix. Lol . We have great beaches in Brooklyn and long island . A little bit about me I have been
kiting for over 10 years, started on the water then went over to landboarding and stuck with it eversince. Its just easier to me and plus you Can
kite all year round!! It's a shame we have a whole field at Floyd Bennet field and it's always empty no kiters. I just purchase an hq Montana 7 in 7m
to replace my hq apex 2 in 7.5m. Wish I had went with a bigger size though it seems to be a little under powered compared to the apex. But I love
the feel of the kite. I wish more people would make use of the spot before the parks dept decides to use the space for other things . Come on nyc
kiters I wanna see more people out there enjoying the spot.
