Every now and then you get a thread that starts, 'This place is quiet', but never the opposite, so I thought I'd say how lively it seems around here
lately.
Who needs FB. :Dssayre - 3-8-2015 at 06:59 PM
This and XK are seem to be really thriving. I'm not on facebook, but it seems a lot of kiters converse on that maybe. They will have to tar and
feather me before I join facebookWindstruck - 3-8-2015 at 07:36 PM
I used to use FB every once in a while. Good for keeping up with some distant family members, etc. I'm sure it is great for some, and I'm not knocking
it, but it doesn't hold a candle to PKF! I'm the first one to cheer on XK too, in fact I do it 3.2 times per day! :DBeamerBob - 3-8-2015 at 08:21 PM
We post more IBX info on Facebook than anywhere other than our website. All the pages like that are public and can be read over and perused without
an account. PKF is amazing though and I can't go more than half a day without checking in during normal times. Remember, facebook is only as
intrusive and knowledgeable about you as you let it.soliver - 3-8-2015 at 08:26 PM

OM GOOGLE... I thought I was the only one... No FaceCrack for me either... they would have to tar, feather, and beat me with sticks first.Randy - 4-8-2015 at 04:38 AM
Me too - never had Faceplant, never will. I do get annoyed when some business or organization puts info I want on it - usually I just write them off.
Faceplant has created sort of weird muscle problem for me - every time someone mentions they saw something cool on it my eyes roll and my heat tilts
back. :evil::evil:

I love it so much here I never log off....canuck - 4-8-2015 at 10:01 AM
PKF is a great place to find information and hear what is happening around the world but there are only a few local kiters that post here. A couple of
Calgary kite forums have died in the past couple of years because most of the kite crew share their meet ups and experiences on 2 FB groups.
Keep PKF alive and kicking macboy - 6-8-2015 at 10:00 PM
I'm with you Canuck! Seems Facebook and I only really play lots during carving season.Hippieflip - 6-8-2015 at 11:43 PM
To the depths with facebarf. I'm 28, and I have a facebarf account. I use it when I'm feeling down. I maybe get on there once MAYBE twice a month. It
makes me laugh seeing how "normal" people converse via the web. And weather u r or r not involved with facebarf I say cudos to the rebels. If I wanted
to know what u had for dinner EVER I'd ask. I just don't understand the obsession of posting every three minutes of anyday, anywhere, anytime, with no
regard for the people who really do just want to say hello to an individual with whom any other means of communication is difficult or non-existent.
Seriously impossible to find anything u want to revisit. 45 seconds after u see something it's lost forever in the mindless dribble. FACEBARF BE
DAMNED. VIVA PKF.Hippieflip - 6-8-2015 at 11:49 PM
Not that I feel down as much as once a month. but it does provide a fair amount of chuckles from this guy. Pure ridiculousness. xanthiax - 7-8-2015 at 02:32 AM
