here it is Tuesday and no evil twin or Gerald, what is this world coming too?
the wind has been about 10mph out of the N/NW not the best but hey who cares. we are having a great time. trying out the new camera mount and getting
some great buggy time in.
if you aint here, bummer. wish you all were able to come and enjoy our HUGE BEACH, not really, we like having it all to our self's. hahahaha
5 more days to have a blast and buggy till you have had enough. heading over to the fudge vender for some dark fudge and a stop to down a long island
ice tea. 77 degrees, blue skys, warm wind, great friends, warm sand between the toes, the smell of coconut sun screen, kites all over the sky and as
far as the eye can see, 60 foot parrots and 40 foot cats one line kites with a bazillion REV kites all in unison, what more could you ask for?
I like like this place.fletcht - 18-8-2015 at 05:27 PM
Alert! Saw evidence of Gerald in parking lot. Jeff, hope the new camera mount works better flying then it did yesterday. When I launched the 10 and
went sliding down the beach. It will be another great day tomorrow. ColinW - 18-8-2015 at 06:11 PM
I'm coming Wednesday night, or Thursday. We don't have a room booked locally for Wednesday, and so far there is no room at the inn...
10 mph sounds perfect for a newb, but I might need a bigger kite.
Jeff, Don't give away my buggy!
I'll be the Middle aged fat guy with a hat and cargo shorts. Ha Ha Ha. ( I kill myself sometimes.)

WSIKF 2015 - New 8m FB kite on 2900# line
PistolPete - 25-8-2015 at 08:58 PM
Missed out on hanging out with Jeff, Morrie, Herb and the gang at the WSIKF this year
But in the kite festival spirit, I flew my new 8m FB kite this weekend… A new Premier Mega81, on 1/4” Tenex line, with a dyi 5’x24’ tail
Pete, your sled would have fit right in at the festival, and we did miss you too. Next year?
Already on my 2016 calendar :bouncy:abkayak - 26-8-2015 at 07:23 AM
thanks Bigkid, i am a parrot head..i see these kites on ebay from Wa. and am dying to pull the trigger but w/ the sled and line guess id have to sell
a kidney.....which im still considering bigkid - 26-8-2015 at 10:07 AM
They're not that expensive, in respect to size and material. Not to say some are way to much. Besides, you only need one kidney....:D
