Hey guys.
Well, after being able to get out again today, I was checking the lines when packing away and noticed something which I didn't see on day one when I
checked the lines.
I will attach pictures but I was wondering being completely new to this if this is how the lines are supposed to be.
I first thought the line had split but then noticed it is below every knot on each bridle and around the lines for the power and brake where the
bridles attach to the kite. As you can see with each line, it makes a loop near the top of each and every line. Yet if you didn't know better you
would say that the line split to create the loop.
Is this normal for how the lines are supposed to be.
Sorry if it seems like a ridiculous question, yet I am just making sure that I continue to do all I can to learn as much about this sport and stay
safe.

From the pictures it looks like the rebraided the line back into itself. I think that's normal, but don't have any Octanes.

I saw it on one line at first, when packing it in the field, I checked when home and it literally is every bridle and line after the knot leading to
the edges of the kite and just before the leading lines to attach the brake and power line.
I just wanted to make sure as, one line I could understand if it had heavy use for hours on end over a period of time, but surely not every knot and
bridle.
Better safe than sorry as I only had it arrive on Wednesday, being completely new to this, I thought this would be the place to ask.

The material that the bridal and lines are made from become weaker when knotted. Generally the best way to attach is to splice it back into itself.

I just thought it very weird that it was every single line under the knots.
It is my first power kite, so before I go doing anything with it, I thought I had better check with the members here before I look into it further. It
has flown perfectly and I have not had any issues, so if it is meant to be this way then no problem. Yet I do not want to go messing with the lines
etc without first double checking.
It has literally only been flown 3 times in 3 days and no knots or tangles have occurred with the lines only had them crossed in flight which was easy
to reverse.
So, Apart from that. I really do have no idea.

Many thanks for that, I have yet to learn about the types of loops so just wanted to be sure.
Who knew there was so much to learn about kites.? Lol.

I have the same on all my Ozone Flows.

Ozone chains their bridle lines like pictured. Each segment of the bridle is looped on both ends and basically larks headed or chained from the kite
towards the attachment point. Your kite is normal.

Hey guys.
Many thanks for that. All part of the learning curve I guess.
We are just waiting on some decent smooth wind now as we are barely getting a breeze. The kite curse has struck I think as we have not had one decent
constant stream of wind since it arrived. The weather is showing some 12mph winds this week gusting to 15+ so hopefully we will get some flying time
in later today or tomorrow.
