We fly in on Tuesday afternoon. Can't wait to watch the sun come up on the beach as too watching it set.

I am considering buying a kite if anyone is seling something. i got some new banners for the room railing.
wife bought a new 2016 ford explorer to haul my stuff.
i need this trip bad. will be nice to see everybody again.

JR, it's important to keep hydrated on, and off, the beach.
During the day, clear water is suggested; after kiting, water - properly filtered through hops and barley (check with abkayak for specific ratios) - is highly recommended :smilegrin:

Anyone got a floor I can throw an air mattress on sat. night? We might make a 1 day run up the coast. I'm thinkin drive up Fri. night, kite all day (wind permitting ),hang for the cookout. Then split Sun. morning. I still can't say 100%,but if I can work out some stuff ,I might be there.

I just finished the rust proofing the other day and hope to paint it this week some time. replaced all the bolts with 12.9 grade bolts. I still need to find a place that will redo the head stock but that can wait till after WW. the seat just needs a backrest and its done

Sadly I believe Wendy and I now won't make the event. Her car was hit and totaled by a drunk driver over the weekend. She was not in it, thank God. So now our WW fund will be put towards finding a new ride for her...

Chezzy, sorry to hear your car problem. Glad the better half is ok.
I bought Renee a new Jeep Wrangler the end of July and we were rear ended on the 5th of this month on the freeway. The idiot kid was on the phone and never applied the brakes and hit us at 60 mph while we were stopped for traffic. Renee is doing much better with her whiplash. I have a headache now for over 24 days with lower back problems and numb hands. I shipped my buggy today and an hoping I can tolerate the 6 hour plane ride to wildwood next Tuesday.
The jeep faired pretty good but the ford truck that hit us was totaled, thanks to the trailer hitch on the jeep.

I was able to find some. anyone have a pulley bar (2:1) I am working on making one and need something to comare it to to make sure the lengths are correct
