The Dry Lake mentioned in the article - El Barreal - Have you visited there?
What about access to it?
Surface condition?
It mentions that it is only shows water after a rain...
Do you know the wet season there?
I'm interested.

Now the Lago El Barreal has water (just a little for the rain season), but I will try to get there and I will let you know the conditions. Is not far
from the border, maybe 1 hour driving.

I visited the Barreal Lake, in fact it is a huge lake, but it has a lot of vegetation
, I only found a small spot like 400 x 100 yards appropiate for riding with buggies and ATB.
