I'm just starting out, and looking for a board that:
1. Will work for my size under "normal" conditions (5' 7", 200 lbs)
2. Not too expensive
3. Will be suitable for beginner/intermediate level
Any availability (or brand suggestions) are welcome.

for new closeout pretty good, there are less exspensive but limited sizes, something like this size 140cmX 42/43cm wide ....not too much longer .
light center concave definitely will help board control starting out. board has considerable range

the 138x 43 would be decent, less $

I just got a new board and was considering selling my Spleene Session 139 x 40. It planes in an instant. It's this one. Let me know if you're
interested in a u2u.

I have an older liquid logic 140 truth with pads and straps I'd let go for a song. It's in "like new" condition.

If you scrounge around, there seems to be some good deals out there on new 2014 Best Sparks for around $350. Everything I've heard about them has
been great, and seems like a board that would keep you going well into intermediate stages.
