Hi
Just got a 15m Matrixx.
Having issues with its wing tips folding in.
Checked for open zips dump valves and intakes not being stuck.
I can get it to open up with a lot of back line pressure, but that leads to back stall
It will happily fly ro zenith and sit there but with the wing tips 2-3ft of them hanging down.
Looks weird, like it's under inflated but holding air in the middle
So I'm now thinking it's a bridle thing but am left scratching my head.
Any ideas.
Cheers

1. Used or new kite?
2. Check the wingtips for sand, debris or anything that might add weight.
3. Sounds like a trimming issue. If the kite is used, the center lines may have stretched a bit. You can adjust the center line length at the end of
the bar via the depower line. There should be a few extra knots there you can use to shorten the center line.
Typically, the wings only tuck that much when you are fully depowered at the clam cleat and in higher wind.
If you feel the bridling has been compromised, I can email a spec sheet. Copy your post and email it to chris(at)hq-kites-usa.com
Cheers,
Chris

Does the kite ever fully inflate? Does it fly around like that or do you launch it, it never inflates and backstalls to the ground? How strong were
the winds when this was occurring?
That's a big kite and may take some working across the window to get it to fully inflate. If you are out in sub-optimal winds, it may never do so.

I remember a bit of tip tuck when flying Chris's Matrixx at Jibe a couple of years back. I found that it was just a trim issue. A little more
tension on the center line at the cam cleat took care of it. Once I got that under control, I really liked the kite.

Winds first time 15mph.
I was full power and decoder and the only way it opened was when it started back stalling.
Second time in light winds 6-10 mph and I tried everything to help inflate, looping shaking etc button always seemed like the air wasn't getting into
the tips to make a solid kite like my 9m does.

Trim. The root of all evil.

Assuming you're talking about a Matrixx I and not a Matrixx II? I had a 15m Matrixx I, and you could get the tip tuck you're describing when the trim
was pulled all the way in. Typically all it took was a quick bar check (pulling the bar all the way back towards you), and they would pump right out.
