Say you have a LEI kite that is badly damaged on one side. Don't throw it away. :D

Looks pritty slowshortlineflyer - 10-9-2015 at 07:24 AM
that was not a kite originally though. that looks like a production sail, plus its symetricalPHREERIDER - 10-9-2015 at 07:34 AM
man that really cuts down mast/boom and rig set, range might be limited , those guys are just cruising in light air.
with an inflatable SUP man ..that makes it less than kite kit!
thats great!ssayre - 10-9-2015 at 07:56 AM
That's cool Randy, are you going to try and find an old lei to modify?Randy - 10-9-2015 at 02:14 PM
Funny thing is - I do have a friend that has 9 meter LEI that has a leak he can't fix (after months of trying and wasting a lot of money.) He said he
might give it to me to make kites out of. So who knows. I thought looked kind of lame though, perhaps not as crazy as the water kiting I've been
doing. :D
Not sure if that can actually be done however, Not being symetrical could be a problem.

Just hold onto the wingtip. They have handles. Randy - 12-10-2015 at 04:58 PM
Here's a new version of this inflatable sail. Seems like they have made the concept a lot more appealing.

I give the promotional video an F. They should have stuck with the scantily clad woman all the way through the video. Randy - 12-10-2015 at 06:16 PM
Yeah - it really did go downhill after a while. I guess I won't buy one. Windstruck - 13-10-2015 at 05:02 AM
You guys are harsh. I'd give it 2 C's (that's what she said)! :P
