*** NOT ANYMORE *** - Need a Landboard

I guess this is more of an attempt at venting than anything else...

An hour ago I wanted to check something on my board's body, when to my horror I realized it was GONE from my garage. I could literally hear my internal screech/wail (probably very similar to the one when Van Damme was blinded during the fight in Bloodsport.

Probably the worst part is not the personal attachment I have developed for it, but the fact that now I will be stuck without a board for the next 2 weeks when I can actually go out and use it.

So, if anyone has a descent board for sale please let me know ASAP. :)

Mine was MBS Core 90, and I'd like something similar or better. I am about 205 LBS, so it needs to support my weight.

Someone stole your board? Wow tht sucks. How did this happen. U gotta get some security cameras up at your place its very easy to instal .

Bye the way last week when I was at fbf a guy said he found a landboard and turned it in to the ranger station. Are u sure u didn't leave it at fbf.

At the entrance there is a little guard both on the right. ask in there I think they are only open 8 to 4 pm though.

Thanks guys. I had managed to get in touch with the park ranger and he told me they found the board, but it was moved to storage by one of their guards (who are out sick today) and he was not able to locate it just yet. Sounds like he will.

I had the same feeling a few weeks back when I discovered that my 9 genetrix hydra + bar & lines had gone missing from my garage.
It could have either have been stolen from the garage (I doubt) or from the back of my trailer while in McDonalds or flew out the back while driving along. Its a complete mystery!! I'm almost certain it was in the garage.

It was my only buggy kite now that I have sold everything else, apart from a 14m Rebel. I'm not a team rider for Genetrix so I don't get free stuff. I'm just a lowly rider for them. I still need to pay 50% towards a new one which noway I can afford to do. So I'm kinda out of the game where high wind is concerned. :(

Anyway, sounds like you might be getting your board back which is great news. :thumbup:

LOL. I felt the wind was too high for my Apex, so I flew the Prism. But even that was too much, so I flew static, left the board on the side, got tired. Then, before leaving, I saw the guy putting together a sailing device. Went to chat... had to rush home. And I was driving the car that day too, cause all the extra gear was too much for my bike... So many things that broke the "normal" pattern. Must have been why I forgot the board. :)

Dang Redsky, I hope things turn around for you. This has been a tougher than normal financial year for me as well.

Tell Genetrix that your yt subscribers and fellow world wide kiters demand they get you a kite asap!! :)

Here is another thing you don't want to do....Paint your kite stake with a yellow top thinking now I'll never lose it....then go out in a field with 1000's of dandelions and put your stake in the ground and walk away....you'll never find that thing when you get back to where you "thought" you were standing...:thumbup:

Ha, thanks...if only! I'm a nobody. I have a history of losing stuff.

1) I once drove off leaving a 7m Flexifoil Blurr on the beach in the ready to fly position.

2) I left a new 9m Cabrinha Crossbow in a car park at the beach but nobody handed it in, lost forever.

3) I also lost a friends 14m Rebel. I think it got pinched from the trailer while I stopped off at work. Had to buy him another.

4) 4.7m Libre Spirit, went AWOL!

5) 9m Genetrix Hydra, complete mystery!
