What to bring to WBB??????? Flexboard?

bigkid - 17-9-2015 at 02:50 PM

Along with my buggy, kites, a box of goodies to give away, and a smile, I was wondering if there would be any response in my bringing along a Flexboard for you all to demo?
I'm not bringing anything back with me except my buggy and kites. The box of goodies is to leave behind and the Flexboard would have to find a new home.
So here is the big question, I would like to bring the board for those who would like to try it out for the event and sell it to a lucky person for a reduced cost from new.
The board will be new upon arrival to WBB and leave with someone with a bit of WBB experience.
Will it be worth it to bring a Flexboard with me to give it a new home?

I would also bring clothes, not only will it be chilly in the morning, the pool is closed and they don't allow skinny dipping, oh yeah and none of us want to see anything else but your smile:D

Said with the best jest in mind of course. Looking forward to sharing some side on and maybe even some cross on wind with you!;)

Those flexboards look like cruising machines. They look like they would handle speed better than other boards. Is that true or just my imaginative online impression of them.

would love to try one but not sure I'm in the market for one. It will be good to see you again

I have yet to find anyone that can show me any type of wobble at any speed. I did a run down a hill by my house a few years back where the speed limit is 35 and after reaching the bottom which was 1/2 mile from the top, I wasn't even thinking of any wobble. The fact that a 60 year old made it to the bottom of the hill without any wipeout was the topic of the entire event. Only later on was it realized there was NO wobble. Just an over tight pucker hole.

Yes, very stable at any speed. Yes, a great cruiser board. No, not a light jumping board. Yes, you can jump with it.

Would a raffle or auction work? I would be willing to donate 1/2 of the proceeds.
All I want is to cover my cost.

I'll be interested in trying any board that anyone owns, whether or not it's for sale! I am looking to get out of the kids board I am currently using.
