This would be an awesome kite for riding at Ivanpah. It can handle the higher winds for good speeds or be a cruiser in normal winds.Flyfish - 18-10-2015 at 07:34 PM

nice, what are you replacing it withFlyfish - 25-10-2015 at 12:59 PM
Hey Moto,
Just thinning the quiver! I still have a bunch of kites. Mostly flysurfer's. But I still have a set of venom 2's and synergy. I ride two different
places, a beach break that I use the flysurfer's. But the also a super sketchy point break with a ton of rocks, side off shore gusty winds that I use
the Peter Lynn's.
I was just up in Bend / sisters visiting family. I've always wondered if there is a good snow kite location up there? MotoFoo86 - 25-10-2015 at 02:01 PM
The short answer is that there WAS one. Up by moon mountain, inside the sisters wilderness area. However forest service made kiting inside wilderness
illegal several years ago. So now we struggle to find areas not over run by snowmobiles. I'm looking into some locations right now and will be playing
with them this winter.
In short, there's nothing easily accessible, but there's a lot of possibility.Flyfish - 25-10-2015 at 02:40 PM
Thanks! Good luck finding a spot! Dayhiker - 2-11-2015 at 05:32 PM
Kite has arrived! Now all I need is "normal wind". This kite will be a completely new venture. I would be surprised if an Arc has ever been in the
air within 60 miles of my location. The pack is impressive. Looks large enough to backpack for three or four days. But I usually use a 10 ounce day
pack..... Thanks, SHBKFMotoFoo86 - 2-11-2015 at 08:06 PM
We demand photographic evidence of first flight!Dayhiker - 2-11-2015 at 08:31 PM
Arranging to have additional appropriate gear in hand soon. I think I may be able to hold the camera with my teeth using my new "bite the bullet
camera mount". Should have one free hand for shutter release, right? SHBKFFlyfish - 3-11-2015 at 08:45 AM
Have fun with your new kite!flyguy0101 - 3-11-2015 at 12:00 PM
