Had a play with one today for the first time. Got up and flying for a few seconds after several attempts... Good fun, I see one in my future.
Any one else?Feyd - 4-10-2015 at 04:15 AM
I want one. Which one were you playing with? zero gee - 4-10-2015 at 06:17 AM
Yup. Been giving it a try too. I am thinking a 2 kite quiver with a foilboard and surfboard quiver will be my new combo.
So it will be replacing my big kite which I don't like using. I like to surf and the are no waves here in those condititions. The big kite is too
slow to surf with anyhow (fast for a 13.5 but to slow to surf). This will keep light winds fun and interesting for me.
Guys here are jumping them and getting 20-30 foot airs in light winds too. :D

I got one; riding it since May.
Totally into it, worth the first phase of struggle to learn!
Are you learning it on your own or do you have somebody giving you pointers?
have fun!

yep , the cut down mast on LF seemingly smart and much easier to learn . you start with short mast so its not slaming u over so much. saw this at
houston kiteboarding
I ordered Cabrinha Double Agent a month ago ..... they are out of stock until November ..... so I think I will wait until next Spring to try it out

It was the Slingshot Alien Air and an MHL Lift foil...
Was my first attempt yesterday, so not learning really until I get one myself, although the shop guy has one here he's thinking of renting out.Feyd - 5-10-2015 at 03:56 AM
Ha. Just when people think they have their quivers dialed, you introduce a foil board to the equation.
What are y,all riding? Local stores want $5,000 for a setup but they can go spit... LF, Sroka, and TKF look much better to me...zero gee - 5-10-2015 at 05:22 PM
Guys here are riding MHL Lift. Super light and very fast. Great for boosting big airs in light winds. But very pricy. Foiling will explode if
performance boards begin to sell for the same price as a big kite.
The Liquidforce is very heavy and slow. I hate their rebranding of the Wake Fish again for this too. It works and feels easy to learn on but once you
get the hang of it you will likely want to upgrade it. I like the tuning options of the TKF for this reason. But then the costs add up.
