KAP Kite for my GoPro

I'm looking for an inexpensive way to get my GoPro up in the air without a 4 line kite. Although I've enjoyed my 4 liner. It's limited in line length. I want to get the camera up high, not drag me down the road. I just want a used kite that needs a home instead of a heap in someones closet or garage.

Might want to list what style of KAP kite you want.

Once you have narrowed down your preferred style. You might want to go one step further and narrow down the size for your prevailing winds:

Never executed this plan but always thought it feasible to construct a large delta from house wrap material, tape, and bamboo or similar spars. Dacron kite line and a diy picavet (i think that's what it's called) and your set.

Googling "tyvek delta kite" give instructions and videos for this route.

@Marine, there are lots of great KAP kites out there, but its all dependent on your budget. If your Budget is small, I'd suggest trying a DIY Rokkaku made of tyvek (kinda like Indigo said above).

You can do it Sean, and yes, Picavet is correct,.. though you can get fiberglass rods for pretty cheap (instead of bamboo) from Into the Wind or even Grainger... John Holgate says that Delta's may fly at too steep an angle so if you're really interested, look in to Rokkaku kites for KAP, it looks like a 1.7 or 2m Rok is pretty easy to construct.
