Great camera! It is the exact one I use for my videos too. However, there is one model better at this point, the "HERO-4 BLACK" for $500 instead of
$400 for the Silver.
Silver shoots 1080p at 60 fps while the Black does this at 120 fps. Black does 60 fps up to 2.7k, and 30 fps at 4k. My HERO-4 Silver will shoot 2.7K
at 30 fps and 4K at 15 fps.
I was recently given a China knock off of a GoPro as a sort of swag bag thing at a company meeting. It is a couple of steps down in a lot of ways
from the Silver but looks remarkably similar (reverse engineering perhaps?). The best resolution it will pull at 60 fps is 720. I shot some
buggy/kite action with it from a tripod set at 1080p/30 fps and was dissatisfied with the smoothness of the resulting video. Hard to tell if it was
the cheapo processor or purely the frame speed. Color handling and sharpness were clearly inferior to the GoPro too. I will try shooting some 2.7k
and 4k video with my HERO-4 Silver and see how smooth it is before condemning slower-than-60-fps shooting speeds for kite action shots.
I'm tempted to buy this from you! Let me know via U2U after a while if you are unsuccessful and want to cut a bit more off the price. Please don't
take offense by that; I wish you the best success in selling it outright at this price!

I think the silver is the best out of the lot. The black dosent have a built in screen and that's a big necessity in my book. I shoot in 2k or 1080p
at 60fps. I rarely use the 4k as its only 15fps but The 1080p 60 fps gives a very smooth image. I have tried a few sport cameras and the gopro is the
best even beating the sony . Don't even mention those Chinese knockoffs thyre terrible , I don't mind to see a good knockoff of a product at a cheaper
price but I hate to see a bad knockoff and thts wht most of the look alikes are, terrible picture quality and questionable specs, 1080 p looking like
480p and so on. unfortunately it wont last at 300 so I don't see myself going much lower but may be 290 if u really want it we can make a deal today.

Thank you for the clarification. I did not realize the Black edition did not have a touch screen. I agree that the screen is pretty much an essential
feature so I'm with you that the Silver is thus the best all around edition of the lot.
The whole China knock off thing makes my teeth hurt. Peeves me double that my company bought about 100 of them as give always at the meeting. Not in
keeping with them actually so it was sort of strange that they went that way. I'm sure somebody was sold that it was "just like a GoPro only cheaper".
Hardly. Picture was crap versus the GoPro. I hardly even want to sell it because it will somehow perpetuate the crime.
I appreciate your offer to close business today at $290. I'll pass with thanks. I'm sure you will find a willing buyer at the $300 price point. Your
videos are great as I'm sure the buyer's videos will be.

That's a killer deal! I would buy it if I didn't have the Hero 3+ BE. A screen really does help and I can tell that from personal experience. Silver
seems to be the best of all of them, especially at a $300 price point. You won't find better.
Cheers
