Wow, that was quite a bit of work/filming. I didn't watch the whole thing but kept bouncing ahead every 5-10 minutes to see what you did. Nice work. True asset for new fliers.

abkayak - 12-11-2015 at 06:17 AM

wow...destined to be a classic...great for all audiences

Amazing video and great work. It's going to be a great resource for friends starting out, that will go in the standard email I send out to people who want to learn more after trying it once or twice. You're definitely pretty skilled as a flier!

The only thing I would think of adding, is maybe jump times in the video description. That way when I want to go re-watch the LEI section or the Foil section or ... I can easily click to jump to the beginning of it. I can see this especially useful for showing people the wind window, and the assisted launch/landing, so when we take newer people out with us, they understand how to do those, so it's safer for flier and catcher.

I didn't like the video I think it rambles on for too long the music is distracting for a instructional video and the evevrything they say not to do they are doing it. ex flying near objects, and so on.

theres a big difference from a noob jumping in a dangerous area and a pro doing it. I take tons of risks that I wouldnt advice anybody else to do.

ssayre - 12-11-2015 at 12:23 PM

maybe a pro can get away with it but what about a semi-pro?

windrider1 - 12-11-2015 at 01:25 PM

I can do that , reasons

1) I'm a professional at wht I do
2)I don't make instructional videos
3) If conditions require I do ride with a helmet ex if If I'm on asphalt, or if its very windy
4) u can check my videos if In doubt
5) If u still have questions or comments see answer no # 1

Hey, SKD - the video is awesome. My only reservation is that I'd prefer voice direction instead of background music and subtitles, as they distract from the video.

If you put out the next few levels, you'll rival Progression and Drill 1!

Thanks for the share. :)

Thanks so much for your feedback dude. Ill try put a chapter skip section in the comments and video description when I get a chance. Good idea.

Thanks for your feedback dude. It would have taken too long to narrate the whole video, the intro alone took ages, fading in and out the music. I made this video for free but if I charged for it I would for sure have done it. But I dont have a good mic and Im hoping donations will help me produce the next How to Jump and Trick tutorial.
When we kitelandboard we are always at risk, I tried to say it as many times as I could in the video. But there is no free video out there to help people so I thought I would give it a try.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I will try to voice over the whole video next time in the How to Jump and trick tutorial. (If I get a good mic that is)
Was my voice ok in the intro?
