drysuit safety reminder

Double check your zippers are closed before going out on the water! 48°F water scares the #@%$#! out of you pretty quickly when it's filling up you suit.

And wear a wetsuit under it if it's really cold. A torn/leaking drysuit is worse than no suit at all when you're stuck in deep water. For me 48°F = wetsuit anyway, it's safer and warm enough.

Happened to me a few years ago .

i can't even do booties, no way could i do a dry suit. if semi-dry 5mm and lid can't cover it then i sit out , but if a hot tub is close ...i'll do my time.

I have a dry suit and it's very comfy as long as air and water don't add to much above 100F. Mine fits snugly like a wetsuit. I wear a shirt and shorts under it.
