Just for Easterners!

Windstruck - 2-1-2016 at 07:16 AM

To all Eastern snow lovers: there's hope! When the world deals you lemons...

All joking aside, I hope things get cold and nasty soon out your way!

Great video. Time to leaf the snow behind ;)

that is hysterical / commercial of the year candidate
in all honesty i feel for the skiers, boarders, ski areas and their personnel... their is no making up for lost days...saw my first slight bit of ice this morning on a pond in NJ but it will be gone in another 30 min..i have friggin tomatoes still growing at home w/ no intention of picking them yet
that said its a lot of fun bugging on long island w/out dressing like im climbing Mt Mansfield

I know of what you speak. I grew up in Vermont and know only too well how hard this winter is/has been/will be for everyone that in some way gets a positive economic impact from a normal winter. The trickle down of hurt goes through so much and so many people.

Lemonade definitely in hand with your non-bundled up buggying! :karate:

You already own them! Good for one run...

If it's any consolation, then know that Europe is equally dry.

In the Alps some of the ski lifts are still used for downhill mountain biking.

Just got back from skiing in Utah and they got 4 feet a few days before we arrived. Boom or bust it seems.

Fantastic film. Great direction and special effects.

Perhaps deriving or at least owing to the great Sylvain Saudan ?........

Awesome !!!! .... I really was hoping for winter as good as last one ..... Never got so much snowkiting done in one season ....

Got lucky here and had about a foot of snow fall here over the last week. Not enough to start buying lift tickets yet, but enough to make my own fun.

Great pics Yeti. Looks like a fun day. We didn't have quite enough snow for that so me and my son did this.

I don't know how to embed but this one is also worth a look. https://vimeo.com/32863936

Not too far from where I am now. ( out west )

Not to spoil the fun, Bladerunner, but the guy in that video died in an avalanche or something a couple years back. There was another film those guys made before he died: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2673812/. I thought the first one was better, but the second was interesting also.

So Sad! :( Thanks for making that clear.
